I just got back from cincinnati and I swear I've been several times but I've always just been at small events, or friends houses
and I like, actually experienced ~the city~ last night and lemme tell ya
it's like another world

y'all remember that WKUK skit about the 1800s farmer?
that was me

What was your biggest "culture shock" moment?

I’d have to figure out how
to store a crash cart in my car
because they don’t move aside
for emergency vehicles

When I was in college I had a roommate from Moldova and I always thought it was funny to hear what was culture shock to her.

I remember one time we were walking and she saw a guy in american flag shorts and she goes, "In my country, we would not put our flag on our butt!"

Even in different parts of the US, depending where you live it may be totally normal to carry a knife or even a gun, but in other parts it's not.
Like, when I travel to other states, back when I used to carry a gun, I'd always have to research whether it was even legal to do so, just from one place to the next.

He was loud, lazy and pretty ignorant with a very narrow worldview.
