One time the class was acting up and made a terrible mess in the classroom and she just stood there and laughed and when we asked her why she's laughing she just told us that sometimes in life, laughing is all that's left to do if a situation is just so ridiculously bad. 

Thought a lot about that during covid.

yeah this is the most random thing ever. but she had this habit that she just came in and started talking and usually nobody listened to her (too bad, she probably had good stories..). but i just remember this one time she said that and just left the room. i've no memory what she was talking about before saying that, so i have absolute no context 
i was like 12-13 i guess, she died when i was 15, so no way to find out. because my cousins who were there doesn't know either. we will never find out what grandpa said when he bought a lamp.

and !! That my aunt said to me once when I was mby 10 that I had big bones or smth, but in norwegian (store ben) it can be confused with saying I have big legs, so I thought she was calling me fat or smth n then I cried in the bathroom for half an hour lol, good times indeed. She just meant that I have a big build or smth (tall, wide, whatever) and not that I was fat but lol. And then it sticked w me once she said that I looked so skinny or smth when I was 15 or smth, that probably stayed w me mostly cus of the thing she said before. Wasnt very skinny tho but I think I can never really look properly skinny anyway cus of the big build, I just look like a big (not fat) person no matter tbh, cursed but

the cancer part was to emphasize that she has seen dark shit in life

the hating part was just to show like I don't like her as a person but she still had a meaningful impact on me.
