I went shopping today and I only had a few items so I went through the self checkout, but the first one I tried had some issue so I had to switch, and that - plus the cashier talking to me briefly from behind me about the problem checkout - kind of threw me off so I just rang up my groceries, put them in my bag and walked away. Only realized at home that I forgot to actually pay ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

So I had to walk back to the store for 15 minutes in a blizzard to clear it up. Thankfully that was super easy, I just needed to tell them which checkout I used and what I bought and they managed to pull my ringup from the system and I could pay. And the customer service person was super nice about it and actually thanked me for coming by to clear it up. So it all ended well.

But seriously, how do you forget to pay your groceries?

That's how I roll... like, I was buying pants some years ago and the cashier just couldn't ring them up and I checked the receipt before I started packing and I was like "Excuse me, the pants didn't scan right" and paid for them.

I guess I just hope it balances out my shopping karma, I was a shoplifter as a teenager.

Norway, but its very annoying if the store only has self checkouts tho, cus theres no way to leave, since the entrance things won't open if u try to go the other way, and the checkout things won't open unless u have a receipt lol
