I've done a few things in the field. I've worked as a support worker for the elderly in a retirement setting, providing care to them. Now I'm doing private care working with a guy my age who has a spinal cord injury.

Direct patient care and social/public services is my end goal. Currently in retail. 

I shadowed briefly for a week at a nursing home and I think a group home for developmentally disabled ppl is more my thing. I enjoyed my volunteer service with that particular population
