I highly encourage you to do all the actual work of swapping the battery and just take directions.

I can't grow nails to save my life so that's not an issue

pinch/scratch patients 
so when they break it’s ugh

I would be open to learning tho
just so I could call out any mechanic
who tries to jack me for unnecessary repairs
