My plan right now is to answer and say that i couldn't make it to last meeting for reasons, and ask if someone else has shown interest in it, and maybe suggest that if so we could work together,,, i kinda feel like a lot of my anxiety around this would be better if i didnt have all preassure on me for it??? + then if i decide i dont have the time and energy next week theres someone else still working on it

maybe thats a good plan idk vp im rambling now,,,

I don't understand why you would do something you don't want to do? I mean if the pro of possibly getting friends outweigh the cons alone you should obviously go, but if the cons are more weighty than the pros you shouldn't go because it's shit. I can think of a number of reasons why I personally wouldn't have gone, but I'm not you so I can obviously not speak for you.

idk man. Partially because i want my anxiety to go away and it wont go away unless i expose myself to this shit.
Partially bc i have rly hard time understand how much of me is just anxious about social stuff n how much of me is just like genuinely uninterested. but idk life feels empty and pointless and it was better when i did have friends so mt brain has decided that if i did have friends things would be different but it probably wont. So like i just dont know if the pros outwheigh the cons or if the pros are actually pros or just things i want to convicne myself are pros etc
