Group homes need 24/7 supervision from staff and in an industry that is understaffed to hell and with overnights being hard to cover when someone calls off its bound to happen 

In retail idk those places are also understaffed and i just took all the shifts I could get because the pay was shit, if they wanted me to work a 10 hour sure I need the money lol

I think it just depends what type of job u have, in norway at least, and u need some sort of legal amount of rest time between the shifts or smth idk. My mom works technically 3 24-hour shifts after one another, but she has to have a certain time in-between or something idfk. Same thing w ppl working offshore etc.

Was bad at the gas station I worked at a tiny bit tho, not cus the shifts were too long, but I was put up to work until 2-3am I think? And then starting again at 11am and I just lol,,,, I will not even have time to go to sleep in-between

Yep, like that's why I was sent home at 3 am and someone else covered, I mean I guess I could of stayed til 6 but I'm glad I didnt fuck that
