(Also smoking in a bus shed is a shitty thing, especially when like 5 steps away there's a pick up place for the cancer unit, if we need to offer them driving assesments due to not being able to take a bus because 1. mobility, 2, them being too physical ill)
Poor lady politely asks if they can move the bags so she can sit down and maybe smoke outside the shed. They literally just looked weird at her, almost annoyed and scoffed, then just ignored her.
I decide to intervene and basically told them that obviously, their bags won't be damaged by either being exposed to the rain or placed and the ground - and told them that actually ill people need to sit after harsh treatments, as well as people who might have conditions, illnesses, handicaps that causes them to need to be able to sit. Then jackass no. 1 tells me that "well, the busses are coming in 7 min, so im sure it won't matter THAT much" in a condesending tone. I end up arguing with them for like a minut before a man literally takes one of the bags and puts it on the ground so the lady could sit down.
I seriously can't comprehend how anyone can be this cruel and not give a single shit about other people. I was so upset on her behalf, the lack of understanding and just how they can fully ignore a sick person, and try to justify their shitty ass behaviour with a "wElL It'S nOt thAt LonG UNtil..." I'm so angry. I was physically shaking. I'm not a person who tend to engage in other peoples situations, I'm not good at conflict or going up to strangers and correcting their behaviour.
