My sister had to quit because the job was causing suicidal ideation and thoughts. I sometimes would spend my lunch break having a panic attack and calling my friends and relatives to ask for comfort or just to get my mind off the idea of staying in the building for another 6 hours

And this old dude is saying "excuses, LAZY, nobody wants to work anymore" yadda yadda and so on.

I even told him he was being very judgemental of people with mental health issues and he said "if downs syndrome kids can work at a cafe, a young able bodied person can.

Am I lazy or is he literally the most ignorant fuck on this planet.

He said he "went thru hell with mental stuff with family and friends" great then u know how hard it is when you have a hard time working when killing yourself is always in your mind somewhere right??

Don’t bother putting ur energy into it I think it’s probably more valuable leaving like one single comment without anything added your perspective that someone who needs to see / genuinely is there to see what mentally ill slash disabled slash people who aren’t able to work for whatever reason has to say, n then putting your energy towards something more fun
