so i got a referal from my doctor for it
n then the genetic testing place was like :// we need medical papers that prove theres a genetic issue in ur family actually

how the fuck am i supposed to get that. my dad died of the illness 7 years ago and i have cut contact with my mom,. who also probably threw away the diagnosis papers of him because why would she keep that after his death + he got diagnosed in idk 1997 

just very annoying and i wanted to vent

its a genetic illness that only shows up later in life and i feel like its starting for me because either im incredibly uncoordianted and keep falling and hurting myself all the time (very possible) or its the ilness starting (starts with bad coordiantion)

It sucks that your mom disposed your dad’s medical papers
is it possible for you to get a copy of his death certificate?
the diagnosis could possibly be listed on it

i have his death certificate but it just says where and when he died and not of what

It's might depend on how long it's been since his passing, I have no idea

that might be a good idea to look into that ... i think i know at which clinic he got diagnoed like 30 years ago lol  i hope they keep shit like that for that long ...
