eating together is an important thing in our family which is so funny cus me nd my brother wud rather not nd now we r both alone at home but it is so ingrained in us that we still do it nd just sit there in awkward silence while eating

but mostly i think it was more like "it would be nice if u want to sit w us and eat" moreso than u have to sit with us and eat

also depended on what we were eating
some things were eaten in front of tv, others at dining table and if just pizza or something small made for only me n sister and mom didnt have dinner id eat in my room
