JonBénet was a tragic case. It was never found out what happened, but i do agree to it being fishy - especially her parents.
There were speculations that it was her brother who did (she was found dead in their basement) since he was jealous of her. 
But yes, family tension can be hard - I believe Fitz, the father who kidnapped and raped his own daughter held her captive for years.

Yeah... The whole story is so sad. I hope that she's okay and she'll be found one day. I also remember some cases where other children/young people have been kidnapped but they've eventually escaped or otherwise been found. I hope that same happens to Madeleine one day... Her parents deserve to know what happened to her
At least the parents should have some peace at last. i cannot imagine missing a child/someone you hold dear.

I honestly have no idea.. I feel like the kidnappers must've followed the McCann family for some time because how would they've known that there's a child in a specific hotel room? It seems unlikely that the kidnappers would've went through multiple rooms; they could've get caught easily. But I don't know why they specifically targeted the McCann family - maybe, like you said, because of her looks. ):

What I find odd is why did they leave her sister? Why not take both children, since they were siblings.
