Basically it's the guy (or gal) that examines a body if the person died unexpectedly or violently and determines the cause of death. Some s.c.i shit, it's pretty cool. It's a field in medicine so there's room for changing my mind and going for a different field with better pay, the pay isn't great, apparently. For a doctor, that is, it's fine.
