Well In my opinion, there's just too little to do on this site. And too little reward for it.
I actually made a list of what bugs me:
The only like, fun thing to do here is to dress up and play in the Fashion Contest, BUT That is too expensive and feels pointless cause if you loose or if you happen to not be active on the site at the moment when it starts OR If you happen to not press participate in time when putting on the clothes and get disqualified because of that - happened to me A LOT in the beginning and I hated it -Ā
You Just Don't Gain Anything!
And then it's really hard for newer members to play because leveling up is difficult and too time consuming especially since you loose followers everyday and you can't do anything about it but pay pop dollars or real money. And gaining pop dollars is extremely difficult especially in the beginning andĀ gaining credits is even more difficult unless you are willing/able to spend real money. Or unless you are willing/confident enough to beg other players for money.Ā
Knowing that I would have to pay just to keep my progress made me wanna smash my head into a wall and throw my computer out the window when I was new here. Cause the constant grinding was stressing me out!
In other words: VP feels very pay to play both in a real sense and in an in-game sense.
Everything -except the occational 1 >100pd thrift store items-Ā costs more than what you're able to earn without having to spend an entire days or weeks worth of time on the site.
So as a new player: you have a hard enough time getting to 500 popdollars so you can subscribe to the fashion contest. And then once you finally get in to the fashion contestĀ -because other players just so happened to join while you were online-Ā You have to use your OWN wardrobe - that you can't get any clothes that fits the theme for, because GUESS WHAT? You'reĀ now broke!
The layout of the forum feels confusing and those who are more introverted or more easily confused like me, definitely do not approve.
Some people here can occationally be really toxic and that's not fun to see. But a majority is atleast very kind - it's just that my introduction to this site was some people being pretty mean to me and I can't get over that.
Limited codes for clothes makes the site feel extremely biased towards those who've played for a long time and thus already know where to find all the codes. Like when I found out that there were codes BY MYSLEF -no tips - no informations - NO- this is where to go - NO NOTHING - I just felt like I'd been missing out, not fun.
The only thing the codes are good for is that non-pay-to-play members atleast have a small chance of getting some inexpensive clothes, but still, it's ridiculously sad.
The classic games are okay. You don't earn enough on them to make even close to a living and there's no way that you can ever get onto the top 10 list cause it is filled by the same people everytime -who cares.
The Casino games are confusing. I only play memory, It's not really worth it but it's tolerable.
Remember the skateboard game? yeah, me neither.
Honestly, I would've given up on this site, like I did with dragon cave, the moment that I started if it hadn't been for the fact that I was able to cheat in the Fashion Contest. Because that made it fun.
And then I've only been on around christmas just to get the calendar.
When exploiting a cheat that you found purely by accident is the most fun you've ever had on a site - that's when you know, the site is kinda wack.
