I like working out at the gym and I try to always focus on things I want to achieve, or feelings I want to feel, rather than a way I want to look! I want to be able to do a pull up for example. And when I do have a "dream goal" that has to do with looks, it's not the ones that society is trying to make me achieve (like a small waist, big bum etc) but things that make me look strong and therefor makes me feel more confident, like seeing muscles on my back, and just looking... strong! I hope that makes sense, because those things are very different to me, and I love to have these kinds of goals.
Thats such a nice attitude to have when it comes to like .. taking care of your physical self, I love that ! & This comment is actually very useful for me too cause workout is one of those things that's always been super hard for be to just ... well, do really haha. I think that like setting those smaller goals as you've mentioned is something I definitely tend to forget lmao & I think in forgetting to set those I also don't really pay attention to my progression if that makes sense.
Thanks for your comment!
<333 setting smaller goals aswell is the best !! like, ok i did this with 40 kg last time, can i do it with 45 kg in 2 weeks ?? maybe ! maybe !
