no 1 i think a biden presidency could, as i said earlier, potentially result in someone worse than trump getting elected eventually bcuz i dont think bidens presidency will adequately deal w the problems that led to like HALF of the population voting for someone like trump. the rise of fascism isnt limited to just trump as an individual it will continue to rise even without him in power. like snus said HELLO CIVIL WAR. no 2 i think biden will giv the illusion of stability and normalcy n i dont like the idea of that at all because that leads to complacency . that leads to administrations continuing to do fucked up things n not being held accountable (e.g. every1 is like oh obama was so great i miss obama even tho obama was drone striking innocent civilians like hello) . these arent like great arguments for keeping trump in power OBVIOUSLY but its just an analysis of where a biden presidency could lead. ummmm what else. oh yea like i said earlier, by voting for biden i.e. the lesser of two evils , both choices will b worse next time. its just a continuing downward spiral that has dire long term consequences
Yeah, I can definitely see your second point, and I agree. But I still don't think it is a compelling reason to keep Trump in power.
yeah i guess its more of a compelling reason to not celebrate n rejoice at a biden win lol like shit is DEEPLY fucked up either way u know
Oh yeah, for sure. There's no guarantee that things will get better under Biden, but I really just want Trump out of the office at this point.

I remain highly skeptical, but we just have to wait and see I guess.
There's nothing else to do, no one can see the future. It just, to me, looks like the most likely outcome.
I really don't know enough about the US context to draw any conclusions, so you could very well be right about that, I'm just not seeing it myself.
same i don't know much about this, all i know is that 4 more years of trump would be a nightmare

I just hope that if it happens, the very few Americans I care about.. I hope they stay safe. I do not like spending time trying to ensure that people I care about is safe. I've done it for years and it's a waste of time.

As my dad says, there are no winners in a civil war. No one likes to talk about it but I don't think Finland has recovered from theirs and it's about 100 years ago.
nope it's hard Im trying to be realistic but there is so much that must be done and the pandemic has no doubtly pushed the tensions futher its just a waiting game. It wont start near me. I think its going to be Michigan that starts it
Why Michigan?

flint mostly but around that area has a high tension of people forced to stay in dangerous areas, racism, swing voters the such

East coast, Massachusetts I dont remember the last time we didnt vote blue for president, we're strict on gun laws, and most of our red areas have been so throughly crushed by factories closing people are only red because they long for the comfort of the past
