It never gets easier, hence why i haven't even ventured into true crime in some time, nor is planning too. It honestly actually can take a toll on you, because you get paranoid and feel bad for the victims.
Yeah i can’t and I don’t think its v healthy to watch true crime all the time, but sometimes it’s nice esp if you like mysteries
I’ve seen and read stuff that I should have skipped and now regret but I can’t erase my memory
However from a psychological point of view they are very interesting especially if you can get ur hands on the interrogation part of the investigation
Despite others liking unsolved crimes, i got to be honest. I like the solved the best. They usually also has the information on what was actually done. Besides it's reassuring to know that the killer is caught and the family can have a sense of peace.
I have always looked away or skipped anything that i didn't want to see.
I absolutely agree with you on this one. Solved cases don’t keep you up at night because you know the killer has been caught and the victim has gotten justice & the family has gotten peace. Overall true crime docs are still very heavy so I’ve figured it’s not wise to watch them if you’re having anxiety or feeling bad. But yes solved cases are the best from true crime genre for sure

Oh, one documentary i didn't like.. #AnneFrank - Parallel stories

I ranted about this before.. They basically used a girl, that would walk through the history of AnneFrank with us, but at the same time she would take pictures and post them to Instagram with hashtags. The information was good, but it felt in no way serious. Probably was a failed attempt to appeal to the young.

I used to like them until I found out that you don't have to tell the truth or even try to do so in documentaries. Kinda made the genre feel pointless 2 me.

I still kinda wanna trust that there would be some kinda backlash if the document were full of shit 🤔
it’s not like it’s a primary source of information in general
