Ikr, I hate it - it's really pointless. It's like those games that have a similar feature but the only way to stop yourself losing fans is to log in everyday -.- 
it's just really annoying that they are basically trying to tie you to a game you know you love but don't obsess over to always log in everyday.

I do performances when I remember and I only travel to countries where you earn extra fans. The only time I worry about them is when I'm about to reach a new level (idk why, it annoys me when I'm so close xD)
