Honestly I think it would be best, if you only choose one or two members. I have some expirence with blogs, and I'm okay with codes and SEO, I like to use the program Wordpress, and I'm quite good at it. Also it works great with google, if you use the right plug-ins, the only thing needed is a website, and I THINK you can use this one, actually. Wordpress is free, btw, and is a blog program, with lots of things you can do with it. Also, I agree it shall be done right, but it will get so confusing for you, and the users, if it changes people all the time. Also, I think it would be a great succes, if you get one to blog, with a lot of ideas. I would gladly be that person, btw. Cause it would be so much more personal, and at the same time it would give the users something, and it would be a bit different from the paparazzi team on here, so it would be some kind of original. But if you would like to hear some of my ideas, and what I can do, I would gladly send you a mail?Â
I know word press a little bit, it is hard to figure it all out if you ask me. No I will not assign a few members to write things. I really like the idea anybody can contribute and it will not be a team/badge thing. But about the software I was thinking why use word press if we also can do the blogs on Virtual Popstar, like creating one blog account and redirect all the interested people about this topic form social media and such back to the blog ON this website, instead of direct them to the blog outside the website, and then trying to get them inside. Like we can do a topic about XXXX and then anybody will help to find people that like that topic, and tell them about what VP is and ask them if they would join the conversation. Maby we do  not even need to make blogs, just forum posts. And not the ones with 3 lines but really a cool post in blog form with over at least 50-100 lines of text
I think you are missing my point a bit. The fantastic thing about blogs, is that they are so easy to make (Not to write, and such), and a VP blog would be so original, in a kind of way. It would include users, be about users, be about anything else, the world have to offer, and have some funny and serious posts, like a real blog, but just where it always come back to the big theme, VP. So people, who don't know the site could get to know it, without even knowing that they are getting to know it. And when they search for something, that the blog has written about, it would pop up in google (maybe high, maybe low. Depends on the people who knows how to write correctly), and in that way they come in to a page, where they can read about that stuff. If it has good text on it, people is most likley to search around on it, and if there is content that appeal to the users, they will automaticly think about visiting VP, cause if the VP blog has it, the site must have something like that too. -And it does,
the community! Other than that, the blog has the power to get SEO in a somewhat easy way, and SEO is a Search Engine O-something, and can do, so if done correctly, that the posts, and the blog, will be easy to find on google, and other serachers on the internet.
That is why it is so important, that it is only a few to do it, and that it have a website of its own, or a URL at least.
What you are talking about would, for me, seem a bit unproffesionel, and if I where about to go in to a "kids" (you know, popstar and dress up) website, I wouldn't care about the text, I would leave. So another reason it should have it's own site, and it's own layout (with VP style ofc)
Also, it seems a bit more awesome, for VP, to have their own blog. I haven't seen it anywhere else, where it is an OFFICIAL blog for a community site. But I get what you mean, I just don't think it is that great of idea, to do it that way.
Oh, and about wordpress. It's actually not that hard, if you just use some time, figuring it all out, or else the internet always holds the answer, when something doesn't do as you want.^^ I use it on my website.
