This is what's important here. Keep it off the front page.
Like- the way that it's limited only so many posts from each forum are on the front page- make a forum for this and set that one to zero.

I was just going to say this because when someone sees it on the front page it can already trigger or made them want to open it even if it harms them

Ah yes, that's true. Certain words in the title might already be triggering..

However, people like to vent So utilize MC...That's the point of it existing, correct?

You're right.
It could be very dangerous to create a mental health forum- call it a mental health forum- and have zero professionals there.
People might assume it's a place they can get very real help when it would be just as stupid as posting to general for mental health help is.

Exactly. Would be pretty fucked up if someone died due to ill advice from those who are basing their advice off of what may/may not worked for them.
Im actually surprised jess is even entertaining this nonsense.

Glorification of Self Harm Discussion of self harm in a positive light, asking for, or showing, images of self-harm is not permitted. Virtual Popstar is a supportivesite and promotion of damaging behavior is not permitted.
The forum's existing rules already cover you to remove the more triggering discussions that take place here about suicide and self harm. The type of threads that nobody is happy with.
You guys could not change anything and just adopt a more strict enforcement of this rule and it would fix a lot of the issues around here.
Why does VP have to provide a space for people to discuss suicide? That doesn't even make sense. At all. You do not have to supply a platform for people to talk about suicide and self harm. It's irresponsible that you do provide it already. "oh but people need to vent" okay sure, but this is literally not the only website. Let them vent somewhere else. Why does it have to happen here?
It's worth noting that more people have voted for alll the other options and not for the keep things how they are option. So it's only a very very small minority saying 'this is fine keep allowing things to go the way they do now'.
