Well for me it took minutes to switch pages in wd (if they loaded at all) and to navigate through the site, same with redeeming codes, it loaded noticeably longer than ever before. And I've lived through some pretty crappy internet phases too in my childhood, it still pissed me off. With my current internet everything should be very smooth and I expect it to be smooth because I pay for it. I know this problem is in the server and not in my internet connection but nevertheless I appreciate fluent functioning. It's not like I would be pleased with slow connection even though I've had it slow somewhere in the foggy past because the standards are different now.

Omg I remember those days. I would just play pinball, change the screen saver to funny things or play my cdrom games like life or something

I grew up with 56k, but I'm near your age. Also we had it again for a while in 2004 to save money.

And when I lived with my ex we had DSL so slow that it was closer to dial up speed than broadband, lmao

back in the day my parents used to pay for internet by the minute, i was barely allowed to check my email as a kid lmao
