Idk if this have been mention before, and remember this is my own opinion (and I’m truly sorry if I sounds negative or like... am an ass) BUT sometimes I think the moderator should take their jobs more serious. And maybe I’m wrong, but this is my own opinion. Idk how much I’ve been complaining about their jobs, and how much I’ve reported people and nothing have been done. Even if some people (users general) have been doing something not legit. It’s like they are projecting them and that is kinda pissing me off.

some of them are doing it great, but the rest. Come on, work harder and take it more serious. And because of that I’m thinking why are you a moderator, when you can’t help us, listen to us? Finish your damn job. Do you want to help us, listen to us, then please do and take your job more serious, instead of projecting some people.

again, I’m truly sorry if I sound like an ass.
it's hard to comment on this cause no individual cases can be mentioned and sometimes there happens a lot behind the scenes where common users can't see or know what's actually happening

a huge part of our work happens behind the scenes, that's why it may seem like we might not be that "active" or hanging out on the forums with you guys

we also stay as neutral as possible and handle every case individually, trying to fit the punishments with the case no matter who the user being punished is
Probably hard to answer that, yeah. But imo the jobs as a moderator haven’t been that great. Example I blocked a person, who contacted me from side accounts and as always you guys (general moderator) projected the person and then was I the bad kid. It’s not that funny to think moderator should project us, but how can they, if they can’t take their job serious and stop projecting other people?

and that happen more than once and none of you did nothing. Your team was like “block the person” - how many times should you tell me that, and I will still get contacted from the person until I told them that I cont@cted you guys at them end. Bum done, it can’t be that hard to take your job serious : (

at the end... take your job serious or kick some out who doesn’t take it serious and take some new people in, who actually want to help and not projecting other people as your team do. ^^

damn I sound like an ass right now, omg xD sorry!

have to agree with you
i've felt the same with reporting people and they getting away with stuff and then i'm left behind feeling extremely helpless and having to take the consequences that the other person faced me with

if you can't do your job, you shouldn't even be on the team to begin with

well we obviously try to better the ways of handling these situations then

though with the cases of people contacting you continuously the first step is always blocking them, and if they don't stop after the block (for example creating a side account and contacting you through them) and harass you, then it's obviously rulebreaking and we will handle it after you report the case to us so we'll be aware of what's happening

but if there's no actual rulebreaking then our hands are pretty much tied, we can only send a message then and see if the situation will change

Well, obviously none of you didn’t really care at all. It happen and I only got “block the person” every time. Imo people who doesn’t take their job serious, leave the team and then get so some people who actually care and want to help us instead of this /: @Hennastii

but i think these things mentioned/suggested are really good!!

i def also agree with snail, i think DT should have something as a reward for their hard work, along with their own sets ^-^ I don't know how DT works currently, but as said a few friends have told me that it's just easier to send out designs as non d

also is it true that to be in DT you have to put out X amount of designs in a month..? like i think it's odd, it puts alot of pressure on designers if that's true.
The minimum for EN designers is 1 set a month. I know Dutch is 3 however they have less designers then we do.

we do care and everyone of us is in this team cause we want to make sure every user here is safe and sound and that everyone obeys the rules and the site will remain a nice place for everyone.

i really can't comment on any exact case here, so i'm sorry about that, but this will be taken into account in the future.

Vp should have mental health resources (even if just links) because there's so much about it on this page and it become really draining when you have to try and keep people «occupied» b/c you're scared for them. I've been here for 3-4 months now and suicide, panic, self harm, breakdown etc. is topics and comments I'd consider regular and its not healthy for other users to be surrounded by of it at this degree - esp. If you're not t your best yourself. You can't tell people to leave if it isn't for you, but we need stricter rules that vp is not your personal diary. It's a game. You're supposed to have fun and not be stuck with a feeling of fear and reponsibility for the users your in contact with.

Maybe a second admin to help you out in general as well? I've always felt like you don't have time with everything 💗

Donno if it fits here but..
I don't think teams should badge people without applications. Everyone should have a fair chance. No matter if it's a designer position of something else in a team.

just to answer it, as long as there are other suitable applicants, I'll always support one per person.
