i've only been here for like 3 weeks, so i'm not really the right person to ask looking back at the long run. however, i can totally agree with what have been said in previous posts, i didn't even know there was a modteam before sweet hypoxic made a competition forum, which was really fun. so the modteam definitely needs some more attention and visibility imo.

what i think would be cool - as suggested by people before - a party team. @Vuitton itton tton held an amazing party which really gathered people together. it was not about winning, it was just about having fun. everything has been a lot about rares, trades, selling and buying bla bla, so seeing that there was something you as a newbie could participate in, have fun, connect with people and still have a chance to win was amazing.

apart from that, i really enjoy being here and you - together with the other teams - are doing a wonderful job. thank you for taking your time to make this forum and listen to us!

That's kinda why we have the event team. It's not supposed to just be about comps, that's why the name is event team rather than competition theme like the other servers.
Personally I just think some new and fresh faces to the team would be a nice improvement, maybe someone who is willing to host these "parties"

thank you for replying and i totally see where you're at and ofc there's no reason to make a party team if the event team covers that as well c: it's just that, from what i've seen it has just been event team throwing these competitions where it's all about winning the new valuable sets and that has just been what i've thought about it all, correct me if i'm wrong. and if the event team was interested in throwing parties, i'd just have assumed they would've done it already?

i just wanted to say that what @Vuitton did together with buddies and the way they did it was so fricking entertaining and planned down to tiniest detail. the event team just seems kinda busy too and it just feels like it's this exclusive not joinable "vip" club. but adding new people would definitely be a great solution ✨

I'm sorry, I think you might have misunderstood what I'm saying. I mean instead of creating a separate team to host parties (I think they're great and I love that you bring the community together), add people to ET that want to host the parties, like you or whoever.

oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. the point of the parties for us isn't really to join a team, but we thought making it an official team would mean bigger prizes. but based on everything that has happened today, i'm not gonna be joining a vp team anytime soon and i realised that the parties aren't about being in an official theme. we're doing it for vp, and nothing else. team or not, it's about people having fun and being an unofficial team won't take away from that.

With the right program, I don't think it is that hard making the game itself. idk about putting it on the site. Like my sis made a game w her classmates last year and it turned out decently but with more time it could be much better.

just wanted to say that little competition thread was part of ET, which I wouldn't have said was just about winning sets like you mentioned in your other post ! I'm a big fan of 'interactive threads' as I like to call them and I'm happy to make them maybe a monthly thing if that's something people would like. usually I've just done them around festive holidays
