Hey all! There has been a lot of great updates from Etjen about what is to come from the development side of things, but I wanted to let you know what we are working on from the Admin side of things- the experiences that don't really involve coding. These may not necessarily be in order of when they will be done, it's more of a guideline to what to expect.
1) Shop Overhaul
As some of you may know, we held a comp to gather new designs for the shop to give it a much needed makeover. The time we are aiming for for this to be done is the end of September. We will be removing a lot of sets from the shop, most of which consist of sets that only have parts still in the shop while other parts are unavailable. We are also making sure the shop on all 3 servers will be universal. There will still be some sets from the current shop that will remain in the shop. I will give you all a week heads up with what sets will be removed so you can get them before they are gone! In the future, we hope to continue doing these designing comps so that we may have more updates to the shop on a continuous basis!
2) Auctioning off rares from banned users
This has been something that has been in talks for a while now. We are still in the beginning phases of this one so I don't have much information for you just yet. Our plan is to auction off the rare items that have been sitting in banned players accounts for years just gathering dust. This should help release some of those items that seem impossible to get to have them circulating on the site again. These will be from accounts of players who will guarantied not be able to return.
3) Creating a proper guide for all new players
A lot of newbies over the years have stated how confusing the website is to learn. While things may be able to be changed with coding in the future to make it more user friendly, for now focus should be on making sure these new players have access to a guide from the beginning. We have some excellent guides made by some of the users, but finding those can be difficult for new players when they don't know where to look. We want you to stick around, even if there's a slightly higher learning curve than you would be accustomed to. If anyone has any ideas on how to implement this, please feel free to post below or send me a message!
I know it's not a lot, but we are working hard to make this place somewhere people want to stay. Thanks for reading and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Now a question for you: Is it time for some new Fashion Contest themes?
