Hi everyone,

Recently, Mega Credit Month sales have sharply declined. It normally wouldn't be an issue to see minor changes in sales, as it is usually enough to keep the site afloat. However, EN in particular has had no sales of MCM so far, and there is concern from Etjen that it may not be enough to cover the server costs.

We do not want you to feel as if this is a push to go buy MCM, but rather, we want to know why you are not interested in purchasing/have not purchased MCM. I have a few possible guiding questions to encourage answers, as it is important for the future of VP:

- Do you feel as if MCM is worth it for the cost?
- Are there incentives that you feel would make MCM worth purchasing?
- Does the structure/timing of MCM not work for your budget?
- Does VP not feel worth investing in?
- Do you simply not care about purchasing MCM/MCM sets?

We would appreciate your honesty, as this is something we need to work together with everyone to solve. The ideal outcome is we come up with some way to help keep VP alive and not be forced to shut down. If you have any ideas, concerns, comments, feel free to share, but please keep it civil.

I think often i've looked at MCM and the sets i want the most are always the highest ones, 48 euros is almost $80 after conversion. so it's like if my budget is say $16, i know i'm not getting that 48e set, i think "i'll wait for a month with a set i really like that's in my budget"

Also at this time, there's not much to spend CR on, a lot of wanted items are out of rotation, hard to get wishlist items, so then the CR incentive is sort of impacted as well

Also I would like to know how the stats work. It says 9% sold of 1100 euro. That's about 100 euro of credits sold this month but the 48 euro sets are 10 in game, that's 480 euro of sales?

I think up until 24 euros MAXIMUM, anything above that is too much for me

When I really like the set and it is one of the cheaper ones

Especially the 2 and 6 euro tiers

Up until 12 euros it works for me, but the 24 and especially 48 do not.

It does make me a little afraid everytime I buy cr, because I am afraid the website could shut down at any moment. I also wish diamond member was just a bit cheaper, I feel like that would make it more appealing to buy. Sorry for unrelated to MCM. I really wish for VP to have more active members.

I do care! I have bought more cr because of them

All my questions are answered based on my spending habits on the NL server, which is my main.

This is also why i suggest that you can just swap between gender closets, making both wardrobes available for everyone

Yeah, it's been suggested so many times before though.. I'm not sure what the reasoning was for not doing it hmm..

this is bc all designers who are part of mcm get the sets

Omg yes I would like to know that too. I guess if you are the designer you get the sets as well. So if two people worked on a set, they both get it so that is already minus 96

In comparison with other dressup games, MCM offers a lot of value for the amount of money spent. Often two sets per tier and credits as well is i think a good deal! BUT before i knew about the pricing on other dressup games i actually did consider it exoensive.

For me it really depends on the sets offered. If i really like some items its an easy choice because i want to support the site as well. but if i’m not really liking the items too much it feels like a a lot of money, even though i get the credits anyways.

this is actually a very good question, last month i did buy mcm but i did start to wonder if it was still worth it as im starting to feel a little less connected w the userbase, had a few disappointments with sending in designs, and news about the sites development but no real steps for ages. the thought of ‘i put all this effort and money in and for what’ definitely crossed my mind. because the site is so small its easy to feel a little left out sometimes i think.
now that we have a new developer, the background’s changed, i feel more inclined to support again. so that i know my money won’t be lost in a few months

i do! but i do think how much i like the sets greatly influence my decision, which is tough bc everyone has a different style in what kind of items they like more
