Dymitrius just laughed at her. “Little one if I covered my face in dog shit you’d somehow dirk find me attractive, I don’t know how much of a compliment it is any more.” He teased, his fingers tickling against her skin before he took a hold of her hand in his, his other hand grabbing her chair and pulling her as close as she could get to him, it wasn’t particularly nice weather but he enjoyed being in the outside, it was his happy place. “Nah, she isn’t included in our list, we will just have to find someone else.” He chuckled, his thumb stroking along her knuckles as he looked around. “Okay that’s fair, if she gets too boring then you have my permission to play havoc with her innocence.” He agreed. “Come on, we better go in so we don’t miss them.” He stood up, tugging her hand for her to stand up.
Eden knew what he meant and she put her finger up to his lips. “Thank you.” She said quietly, keeping that act of innocence at all times and it came natural to her. It was epitome of what she was, the angel allure, she could have been a murderer but those angel genes made her act as if butter wouldn’t melt. She followed him down to the car, holding her breath, scared the excitement in her was going to burst out if she wasn’t careful. She got into the passengers seat, nodding her head, she took his hand again but held it properly this time. “I feel it’s and I know you do, too. I know you feel it Connor and as much as you tell yourself that Gabbie is the only girl for you, that isn’t true, is it?” She asked him, her other hand lifting to his face to turn his head to face her. “Soul mates..” she whispered quietly.
Gabbie felt a shiver down her spine again and her fists clenched. That damn bitch was touching her husband. “She’s doing it right now. My body feels it whenever she’s trying to override it, whenever she tries it with him. I thought it was just sickness but my whole body is tying to fight her.” She told Sasha finally. But she felt crazy for even just saying it out loud, was that even a thing? She was Connors soul mate. Nothing and no one could get in the way of that. “I flipped last night and Connor just looked at me like I was in the wrong. He’s been so distant, ever since she came into our lives.” She nodded slowly rubbing under her eyes. “The golden look..” she frowned. “I can’t tell him.. I don’t want to tell him, I don’t feel like he deserves to know.” She admitted.
