Connor had moved to the edge of his seat, quite literally, as he waited for the screen to be turned around. Hearing the doctor clarify that their child was healthy gave him a sense of relief but what followed brought tears of joy to his eyes. "Twins?!" he repeated, almost in unison with Gabbie and he looked from the screen to his wife and back again, "we are having.. having twins!" With that he couldn't remain in his seat anymore and he moved over to his wife, giving her a half hug ensuring he didn't touch her tummy. Holding her close he felt the tears slide down his cheeks and he couldn't wipe the ridiculous smile off his lips. "I love you," he whispered against her head, pressing a kiss there before moving back to his seat. "Are we able to tell what genes they have at this stage?" he finally asked, another rather important question.

Dr Hawthorn watched as the two interacted, taking pictures on the screen and sending them to be printed while the two rejoiced. "Unfortunately it is unlikely I will be able to determine their species and since neither of you have physical displays of what you are.. apart from your wolf form of course which doesn't manifest until the child is a little older, we will need to wait to run tests once they are born." she concluded. "But what I can reveal is the gender, if that is something you are both interested in knowing at this time? I understand some couples like to keep it a surprise."

Gabbie was ready to throw up from how excited she was. Not only had her body made one miracle little being but she was carrying two! Now she knew she had to protect herself, out of harms way and just protect the little lives that were now forming in her. She reached up, wrapping her arms around Connor to hold him to her for a little bit longer, kissing his cheek. “Two perfect little menaces.” She was sobbing full on happy tears now but she quickly wiped them away, considering the doctor wasn’t done and there was even more that she could tell them. “Yes.. I.. we want to know. We want to be a prepared as we can, even if we can’t guess n the species right now.” She smiled, a smile that wasn’t going to leave her face for a long time. No wonder she was growing so quickly.

There was something so special about that. In the supernatural world it was known that twins were generally more powerful and the bond that they could share.. it would be unmatched. "Yes, we would absolutely love to know!" he agreed as he held onto Gabbie's hand, waiting for the news.

Dr Hawthorn chuckled at the phrase menaces, "Well it is my absolute pleasure to tell you that you are having a boy and a girl." she let this news settle in before continuing. "I've sent copies of the scans to the printer, you'll be able to collect these at reception. If you can also book an appointment for two weeks time we will begin to monitor the growth rate of the twins."

Gabbie was ready to jump and and down with the joy she was feeling, and when the doctor told them the gender too she was so close to screaming. “Oh my god.. this.. this couldn’t be any more perfect if we tried.” She knew how important this was to Connor too, he always spoken about family and she had always been scared that she wouldn’t be able to give him more than one child, but here she was expecting twins? A boy and a girl? It was crazy! She sat up a little more when the doctor removed the scanner and she grabbed a tissue, wiping the excess gel and then pulling her trousers back up. “Thank you so much, dr hawthorn. We will see you soon.” She jumped off the chair and then paused, wrapping her arms around Connors neck and pressing her lips to his. “I love you so much..” she whispered to him.

Lifting his hand to his face he wiped away the happy tears that had found their way down his cheeks. "This is perfect..absolutely perfect. Thank you so much Dr Hawthorn, for all of your help. We look forward to seeing you again." Standing up he shook the doctors hand before turning to look at Gabbie as she fixed herself up and stood up and he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "I love you little one, you are my moon and my stars," he admitted. Kissing her two more times he pulled away, holding her hand as they headed out and to the receptionist. The gentleman behind the desk handed them an envelope and booked them in for their next appointment, "thank you so much." he said as they headed outside and towards the car but he couldn't help himself. Pulling Gabbie back into his chest he picked her up and spun her around, "we are having TWINS!! TWINS." he almost squealed, excitement now filling his entire body.

Gabbie was on the moon she was so excited. Good god, how was she so lucky in life? Everything just seemed to fall in place for her, ever since meeting Connor she’d had three straight life possible. Scrunching her face up at him but she and no words, knowing that if she spoke she would definitely start crying so instead she took his hand and followed him out to reception, taking the small envelope of photos she held them close to her chest while they headed out and before she knew it she was in his arms and she wrapped her legs found his waist, her arms round his neck, screaming with delight. “TWINS! One of you and one of me.. it couldn’t get any better..” she giggled.

Connor kept one hand under her bum to support her against his waist as he spun them, slowing down eventually he looked into her eyes and stole a kiss.. and then another and another! He couldn't get enough and the pure joy was so overwhelming as their emotions blended into one happy mess. "I can hardly believe it! This is the best day of my entire life," he admitted as he kissed her again before setting her down on the ground and opening up the car door for her. Going round to the drivers seat he got in, tapping his hands on the steering wheel as he tried to hold the excitement in, "Would you mind if we stopped by D's?" the excitement was loud and proud in his voice, "I'd really love to be able to tell him and I just know how happy he will be for us. It might also help him out of the funk he's gotten himself into."

Gabbie was laughing after every kiss but she couldn’t ever get enough of them and she would have gladly stood there all day with him, receiving an endless amount of kisses from her husband, the father of her child..children. God, it was still sinking in and it was a serious pinch me moment. “Mine too.. after our wedding day.” She corrected herself. Nothing could get better than that but this was a very close second indeed. She slid herself back into the car and buckled herself in, watching as the seatbelt wrapped over her stomach and made her little bump protrude out even more. “I think that’s a good idea. And then maybe we can tell my mom, and sasha?” She suggested, running her fingers through the ponytail her hair was in.

Connor nodded his head in agreement quickly, "of course our wedding was magical, I wish we could do I tall over again just so I could relive it all. Seeing you in the dress for the first time.. I thought I was going to pass out." he admitted. When he got the all clear from Gabbie he started up the engine and headed in the direction of Dymitrius, in the back of his mind he was praying that whatever drama had gone on between him and Luna was cleared so that he could rejoice in this exciting news. "Of course we can! It will probably make sense if we see Sasha after D since she lives nearby and then we can see your mum afterwards, gosh and my father as well!" he couldn't believe how many people they had to share this exciting news and he couldn't wait. It didn't take too long for them to arrive at his brothers and they got out of the car, and he headed up to the door and knocked. A grin had never left his face this entire time.

It seemed he always had thoughts of her in the back of his mind, he just didn’t want to piss her off, because she would have every right to take Sean away from him and never see him again. He looked at his watch and chuckled. “More like lunch now.” He called as he headed into the kitchen, pausing in his tracks when he heard the door he swivelled on his heels and headed to the front door, smiling at his brother and Gabbie. “Good morning, lovers.” He teased opening the door wider for them to come in. “I was just starting on some foods are you both hungry?” It was more aimed towards Gabbie, of course Connor was hungry, he was a wolf.

Gabbie nodded her head in agreement with him. “God I just can’t wait to have them in my arms now, I just want to hold them so close to me.” She ran her fingertips along her stomach gently, just hoping they knew that it was their mother who was eager to touch them and hold them and it was like they knew, as one of them kicked out and she gasped. Raising her eyebrows she had to laugh. “Jesus, it’s like they can read my mind or something. I hope they’re not kicking each other in there.” She teased as she got out the car with him, her hand sliding right back into his as they got up to the door and D opened it almost immediately, she stepped inside kicking her trainers off. “That actually sounds amazing.” I’m eating for three. She thought to herself, following Connor and D into the kitchen.

Luna picked out a simple silver chain necklace that had originally been her grandmas and moved to the mirror to get a better look as she did the clasp. Thats when he jaw dropped as her eyes picked up on the harsh contrast between her imprint mark and the pale skin it lay on. Clasping the necklace she moved her hand to run along the mark, it looked almost fresh yet healed.. it was much redder than it had been this morning. The attention on the mark shifted when she heard voices and she quickly brushed her hair, wincing at the pain still present in her body before heading down the stairs and following the voices to the kitchen. "Gabbie, Connor it's good to see you both again, sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye last night," she said with a genuine smile, hoping they weren't here looking for answers. She had no idea that they were getting any scans done today.

Gabbie was relieved that there was no longer any tension in the house and there was no shouting either, and D didn’t seem to be in his mood like he was last night which was a relief, whatever it had been was obviously fuelled by alcohol. She watched the brothers interact and smiled to herself, looking at them you wouldn’t have thought they were even related but their mannerisms and the way they spoke, and their overpowering way of clasping onto a room, it became extremely obvious that they were brothers. Turning her head when she heard Luna she smiled even more. Glad to see that she was still standing but that imprint.. it was looking extremely raw and red. “It’s not problem at all, tensions were high, we were the last thing in your mind,” she shrugged, rubbing her stomach gently. “Actually we have some pretty great news..” the room fell silent and she glanced at Connor before talking again. “We’re having twins.” She squealed.

Luna swallowed hard as everyone almost in unison looked at the mark on her skin and momentarily she regretted not changing into something different. Her eyes caught Dymitrius as if to question him on whether he knew what was going on but she could talk about it later. Looking back at Gabbie she gave her a warm smile, "Yeah I appreciated your help with clearing everyone out, so thank you." Without them helping to clear the garden everyone would know about her dirty laundry which would likely end in a witch hunt.. literally. "You had your scan?!" she asked excitedly as she listened to them speaking. "Oh my goodness congratulations!!" her heart was beating fast, twins, that was extraordinary news! Wrapping her arms around Gabbie she pulled her in for a hug before releasing her, "you both must be so excited. There is ancient whispers among my kind that twins, of any species, are the most powerful of children."

That’s fucking fantastic brother, I’m so proud of you.” The diamond brothers certainly did have strong swimmers that was for sure, him and his mess ups and now Connor had barely been with his wife five minutes and she was knocked up. He chuckled do himself, going back to the oven he began to plate up lunch for all of them. Him and Connor getting some massive portions, and then Gabbie, and then of course kuna and her smaller appetite. “When do you get to work out the species?” He asked.

Luna wasn't sure if she could ever cope with carrying one child in her let alone two, that sounded like an awful lot of work on the body but she only felt that way because having kids wasn't exactly on the cards right now with her and D. Things were still rocky and she had a lot of making up to do, "That doesn't sound silly at all! Wait.. let me give you something," she said. Thankfully at least some of her strength had returned and she took Gabbies hand and held it out in front of her, palm facing up and she let her own fingers glide along her palm and lift up. Appearing in Gabbie's hold was a beautiful pastel blue and pink dream catcher, "to help fend off any dark spirits, for you and the little ones." Her attention shifted to Connor as he began to explain the species and the mention of Lucifer made her eyes shift to Dymitrius with an apologetic glint in them before back to the younger Diamond brother.
