Dymitrius was smiling as if he was the one that had caught the stag but he was just so damn proud of her and he couldn’t help but compare her to when he had transformed sasha and how weak she had been compared to how triumphant Luna felt right now, like it was always what she was meant to be, it had just taken them a little while to get there. “Now we will celebrate, you’re right!” He held his beer up and cheered before draining the contents and throwing the glass bottle into a nearby bin, another one in his hand a,most immediately which he was thankful for. “Well you’re always welcome to the spare room but I understand. Not only one, but two little fighters inside of you right now.” His hand rested on her bump momentarily but he paused as he hard Luna and smiled. Let’s tell them. He dropped his hand and stood back up straight, “me and Luna.. we are.. we’re soul mates.” He felt crazy to say it out loud.

Gabbie clapped her hands together and hugged Luna tight. “This means so much for the tribe, it’s going to be so amazing, having such an empowering woman next to the alpha. I mean you were already up there but now even more so. You really are his Luna aren’t you.” She smiled and pulled back, slipping back to Connors hold and she nodded in agreement, getting home into her comfies and putting her feet up sounded like heaven at that point but she didn’t want to be a party pooper. And she wasn’t even thinking about that when she heard their amazing news and she squealed, yanking Luna in for another hug and this time holding her for even longer. “This is so special. Don’t ever let anyone try and tell you different,” she whispered.

Luna had pushed the thought of her magic to the back of her mind since the transformation had happened and she wouldn't even dare try to use any until the house was empty because finding out it was gone? That was going to break her in a way she didn't want anyone seeing, other than her soul mate. Soul mate, what a ridiculous term yet it made her relationship make sense. "Thank you Gabbie, I hope that I'm up to the job but most of the tribe seem somewhat happy about the change. Only time will tell." Hearing her companion say the words out loud was enough to make her entire face light up again, neither of them had truly spoken the term because they had found out while in wolf form. Wrapping her arms once again around Gabbie she just had to laugh, "I didn't think it was even possible but maybe its a sign that this is who I was meant to become all along." Nodding her head against Gabbies she whispered back, "I won't."

Connor chuckled as he watched his brother throw back a bottle of beer like it was water, something the pair of them had done countless times during their youth. The amount of times they snuck off into the woods to drink without their father knowing was unbelievable but whenever they came skulking back Carl was always waiting at the dining table ready to ground their asses for being irresponsible. "Thanks but I think with the trouble makers brewing the comfort of home is what we need. Plus, who knows how long you'll have guests fleeting around here and we both know werewolves aren't quiet when they party." But he fell silent as his brother gave them the news, his face turning into a wide grin, "well I'll be damned. Thats incredible news!" he slung his arm around his brother, pulling him in for a manly hug as he patted his back hard, "maybe she's a keeper after all then."

Dymitrius nodded his head. “You’re right, these bastards know how to party and will be howling until god knows what hour.” He laughed, sipping his second bottle a little bit slower, keeping up with normality but normality wasn’t even really in his vocabulary any more. He hugged his brother back, patting him on the back. He has a few inches in him but he was around the same size and it felt so good that he still had his family so close to him, he knew some of the tribe wasn’t so lucky with that. “It didn’t happen until we were in our wolf form. Our snouts touched and I just knew.. everything you’ve described, what you’ve got with Gabbie.. I know exactly what you mean now.” He smiled, his whole face was lit up, even behind all the make up of his Halloween costume. “Maybe now we are on board with you guys we can go on a double date?” He suggested.

Gabbie was buzzing, she finally had someone to share all of her little antics about soul mates with. Sasha has briefly had it with D but that had been forced and wasn’t quite the same as real true soul mates. She pulled away from Luna eventually, not wanting to be weird but god, she just wanted this to work for them. Her and Connors connection had been in danger and it had been physically heart breaking for her, and no one, not even her enemies should have to go through that. “Let’s face facts though, we all know you two are made for each other, soul mates or not, you’re like perfect for each other.” She laughed softly, sipping on her lemonade. She was finally back in a good mood but her belly was beginning to feel heavy and her feed were pounding in her boots.

Luna could hear Dymitrius clearly as he gave Connor the break down of exactly what had happened but she could also hear one of the newer tribe members that was standing on the other end of the room talking about some sort of video game he was playing, and then the human in the garden discussing politics. The voices were overwhelming and she had no idea how to filter them all out but for now she focused on Gabbie the best she could, "I cant deny that, he completes me." She admitted.

Connor listened tentatively but he could feel Gabbies unrest starting to form and he made a mental note to make a shimmy out of here soon, "Remember when you thought I was completely mad?" He laughed, "now you are part of the madness. Who would have thought that the Diamond brothers would be lucky enough to find their soul mates?" It was a rare phenomena at the best of the times, most loved their life never meeting their soul mate which was why many formed other relationships. "Only a year later than it should have been but it needs to happen. However I think right now I need to get my pumpkin home for some rest."

Dymitrius grinned a little. “We really are the luckiest men in the world, finding girls that will put up with us for so long.” He taunted, looking down at Luna. This was fucking strange, he could feel everything she was feeling which meant he could feel that she was getting a little overwhelmed which automatically made his arm wrap around she and tug her just that little bit more into his bare chest in a rather protective manner. He nodded once at Gabbie, giving her a warm smile. “Well we cant have a smashed pumpkin can we, so I will understand you leaving us so early.” He grinned and leaned forward giving his brother one more pat on the back and then gave Gabbie a hug too. “Rest well.” He told them as he walked them through to the front of the house.

gabbie didn’t say it out loud but she was so glad they would be heading home soon, her jeans were beginning to itch her belly and she needed to take these boots off before her feet exploded from the pressure in them. It was safe to say she wasn’t feeling very sexy at all with the way she was right now. “Well I’m just glad you guys are still together through everything, maybe you’ve always been soul mates and just never realised?” She suggested. Connor had told her about the way D had punished Luna when she had cheated on him but she wasn’t about to bring that up. Hugging D back she headed through the house, holding onto Connors hand she rested her glass in a nearby table. “This was an awesome party, and congrats again guys!”

Luna wasn't the type of person to get overwhelmed easily but with all of these new strengths and improved senses, it was getting overwhelming. Lifting her head as that familiar muscular arm wrapped itself around her waist and pulled her into his bare chest she let out a breath that she didn't realise she was holding in. Leaning into his warm body she took a deep breath, indulging in his scent for just a moment before focusing back in on the conversation before them, "I wouldn't be surprised, looking back at it we've been drawn to each other in odd ways." There had been many times when they were younger when Dymitrius would watch her when she was with her grandma but Evelyn always hurried him off not wanting a boy tainting her granddaughter. "Thanks for coming, it's been great having you both." once all the goodbyes were done she moved back to the alcohol and poured herself a shot of vodka, downing it with ease.

Connor had to agree, the diamond duo were a lot to handle. Any werewolf would be exhausting especially for anyone that didn't come from their walk of life. "Maybe you'll pop the big question after all," he smirked, his brother had always said he wouldn't settle down other than having a companion to solidify his claim as Alpha. As they all said their goodbyes he patted his brother on the back again before pulling Luna into a hug and whispering, "You'll get the hang of things eventually and if D gets too overbearing you can always drop me a message." Waving goodbye he slid his hand Gabbie's and the pair headed out along the streets. It was definitely colder outside the front than it was the back garden, telling of the enchantments Luna had put in place before making her change. "Maybe I'm getting old but boy am I looking forward to getting home and into something comfy." and as he spoke he looked down at his white suit and stopped walking completely, "Oh for fuck sake when did I spill sauce on these trousers?! I avoided the mud perfectly but no-no sauce betrays me."

Dymitrius smirked, hearings his brothers words both times and he had to laugh. Marriage wasn’t his kind of thing at all but maybe, maybe it would happen eventually. But he didn’t understand the need for it, him and Luna were perfectly happy and in love without needing to label it, the only good that could come out of marriage was the legal label that it slapped onto what they were. She didn’t seem to falter when it was mentioned though so he ignored it for now, waving off the happy couple he turned back to her. “I really can’t wait to teach you so many things. But that will start tomorrow, for now, little one, we have a fuck tonne of celebrating to do.” He grinned, sweeping her close to him, stealing a rather hungry kiss from her as the music continued to blare. It was a good job they didn’t have any human neighbours because the noise the tribe made was ridiculous.

Gabbie waved her goodbyes and then grasped onto Connors hand, her eyes heavy and the cold was real and she couldn’t wait to get into bed with her wolf who was like a living hot water bottle to her. “You are, you’re an old man now Connor, closer to 30 than you are 20.” She teased him, stopping when he did and looking at his trousers she burst into laughter. “I literally have no idea how you’ve managed that but I’ve gotta say I told you so. It’ll wash out though and it’s not like you’re going to wear white trousers ever again.” She tugged on the wing cord one final time and then mustering up a lot of power, she pushed her wings out too, though hers seemed to get darker every time she forced them out.

Luna rested against the kitchen counter as Dymitrius spoke, a grin forming on her lips, "as long as you have the patience to teach me everything." Letting him pull her close to him, her arms wrapping around his neck as their lips collided again. There would never be a time in her life where she couldn't get enough of those lips, to think she almost gave up this life for one with the Devil.. she really must have been well and truly corrupted by that dark magic. At least thats what she was blaming it on. Pulling back just enough so she could gaze into his eyes, "I remember that barbecue your family hosted the day I had returned home from university. It had been the first time I'd seen you in what? six years. And the first thought I had was fucking hell the boy next door somehow got even more attractive. Now look at us." she laughed, shaking her head and pressing another kiss to his lips, "If my grandma could see us now she would be so happy for us."

Connor's jaw almost dropped at her comment, hearing the words thirty almost had him double over because maybe he really was getting on, "Watch it little one, I might be getting old but I'm not going to be losing my strength any time soon. Most wolves retain their impressive strength until they are in their late sixties, though most retire from fighting in battles by then." When looked at the stain and laughed it made him playfully pout, "you don't know that.. maybe I want to start matching our outfits! be that kind of couple." as she tugged on the cord he felt his fake wings expand but he fell silent as she brought out hers. They were perfection to him and he slowly leaned in close to her, running his fingers very gently across the feathers, causing her to ruffle them under his touch, "Your wings are beautiful, I know I say it every time but I mean it Gabbie." he pressed a kiss to her forehead, then her nose and finally her lips. "Do angels up there, in the kingdom of perfectionism walk around with their wings on display all the time?" he asked, genuinely curious.

Dymitrius couldn’t believe they’d come this far, in fact he was so proud of himself. The last two years had been a complete shit show if he was being completely honest. Finding out he had a child with a human, being banished from his family tribe.. fighting with the alpha of that tribe. Losing his first love. It had been chaotic but damn it, he had fought hard for this girl and he was never letting her out of his sight again. Now they had a new future, a whole new start and he couldn’t wait to show her the wonders of the wolf world. “I think if you’re grandma was alive right now she would have chased my ass away from you a long time ago. She knew exactly what kind of trouble I was.. for just seemed to be attracted to it instead of fearing it.” He chuckled, sipping his drink.

Gabbie gave him the cheekiest grin she could muster and shrugged. “Whatever you say baby, just remember I’m still closer to 20.” She stuck her tongue out at him. That was going to warn end some serious minus brownie points but it was so worth it because the growl that came from deep within his throat was so damn chilling to her, she wanted it to engulf her completely. Oh no. These hormones were doing some terrible things to her. “I never, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, ever want to be that couple. You suit your.. boyish style and I suit mine,” she grinned, kissing him back gently, just a couple of times before they continued walking home, she nodded slowly. “Up in heaven? Yeah. It doesn’t feel like they’re anything when you’re up there apparently. So it’s easy to have them out.”

Luna snorted in the most graceful way possible at his comment, "I'm convinced you were a trouble maker from the moment you opened your eyes Dymitrius but your lucky I love it." Pouring herself another drink, this time with mixer instead of a straight shot she looked outside towards the bonfire where people were dancing. "Let's dance," and tugging on his arm she led him out towards the bonfire where music was blasting out of a speaker.

Connor narrowed his eyes and a growl rumbled through his throat, not a threatening one but a playful warning that she was getting herself into trouble with her comments. "Is that so because you were a little miserable earlier about us not matching," he teased, a smile on his lips because he knew that particular outburst had been wholly hormonal. Gabbie marched to the beat of her own drum which was one of the many reasons he loved her. "I see.. sounds like a nightmare for trying to sit down." He joked as they continued walking but his whole body stiffened and he put his hand out to stop her before gesturing to be quiet as he picked up a distinct scent.

Dymitrius, if it was even possible at this point, had fallen even more in love with her. That snort was a new thing, maybe that was a wolf thing she’d grow into. “The rumours are I caused chaos even from the womb, no one should have been surprised.” He chuckled, messing with a couple of the sequins on her dress as they chugged down their drinks, heading out to the bonfire he let the flames blaze against his skin but he didn’t want to be too near it, his body was warm enough and there was a big chance a man like him would overheat next to it. “Dance? Not my favourite pass time.” He chugged down the rest of his bottle and threw it to the side before his arms slid around her and they were dancing along to whatever nonsense was playing through the speaker.

Gabbie gasped and hit his arm playfully. “Connoooor you know I didn’t mean it like that, and that happened like half an hour ago I’m soooo over that,” she laughed at him, taking his hand and giving it a squeeze as they walked along, wriggling her shoulders to push her wings back in because as much as Connor admired them she was still very self conscious about them. “Honestly they kind of mould to whatever you do, especially up there. They morph along with you.” She explained, pausing when he put his hand out she fell to a stop, becoming completely silent she turned her head to him, frowning. What is it? She focused in on his mind to ask him. Damn her, she couldn’t smell anything like he could.

Luna wouldn't have been surprised if the doctors ran in terror after seeing the ultrasound photos of little teeny tiny Dymitrius, the thought only made her chuckle more. It was strange not to feel even remotely cold, the warmth of her body mimicked the hot water bottle feature she had been using her boyfriend for. "No? But I remember you had some incredible moves that night we went clubbing together," she said playfully, that had been the first night she had met Sasha when she was still human. Letting her hips flow to the music she tipped her drink against her lips, finishing the remainder of it before chucking the plastic cup to the side to be cleaned up at a later date. "Does this mean that I'm going to need to start eating ridiculous sized portions of food now?" she asked as she swayed in his hold, her eyes never leaving his. The people around them were nothing more than background noise now.

Connor had been intrigued about how angel wings worked for a long time and he was finally getting into some juicy details when their conversation had to be brought to an end. The scent was overpowering his senses and when he heard Gabbie's voice in his mind his fingers twitched. Blood, fresh and metallic but also a cold rotting scent, Vampires. At least two. He replied to her, his inner voice as calm as he could muster but every inch of his body had shifted into a defensive stance as he watched the dark shadows of the nearby ally way. They shouldn't be in our territory, he explained but this was a bad sign. A very bad sign. If these were the same people that attacked Sasha.. His fists clenched, no one was getting near his wife. "You better leave this place before we rip you to shreds, blood sucker," he snarled towards the darkness.

Lingering in the shadows lay Trent and upon hearing the werewolves warning he let out a low, cold laugh as he emerged into the glow of the street light above. Tilting his head to the side dramatically as he surveyed the two in front of them, "Well, well if it isn't one of the Diamond brothers in the flesh but you certainly aren't Alpha which makes you.. Connor." his dangerous eyes shifted to the gorgeous woman standing slightly behind him, "Making you Gabriella, daughter of Satan. A pleasure."

Dymitrius laughed at her. That might had been a complete shambles, he had lost control completely but hey, that was all on the wild boy hormones he had raging inside of him, right? “I think I was more interested in killing every human in sight that night but that’s a little formality we can forget about,” he joked with her. Glad she saw the light hearted side of it now but he knew when it happened it had petrified her, and he still didn’t completely forgive himself for laying his fingers on her. He was slightly mesmerised by the way she moved so elegantly and now that she had some sort of wolf gene dancing through her she was even more agile on her toes, “well that’s up to you but I wouldn’t recommend starving your wolfs she will get angry with you. Oh and you get to name her, by the way.” He raised an eyebrow.

Gabbie nodded slowly as he began to explain and though she didn’t want to express it too much she was petrified. If these were the guys that had been out to find Sasha, or D, then they would be coming after them too, and their precious twins. Not on her watch. The babies might not have been born yet but her maternal instincts were already there and she kept her head held high as she stared out this vampire bastard. “Wish I could say the same for you.” She simply told him, her heart racing now which wasn’t a good idea around a species that killed for blood. “What the duck dk you want? You shouldn’t be here, all of us know that. So I’d recommend going before alpha finds out your trespassing.” She warned him, putting on her brave voice.

Luna remembered the pure rage that had burned through the man in front of her, the way he had grabbed her and it was like he hadn't seen her. That was a memory she had shaken clean out of her mind because she knew it wasn't what Dymitrius was like, "you were seeing red just a little that night.. but before you had moved your hips just a little." His eyes never left her body as she shifted under the moonlight, her own eyes now golden from how incredibly happy she was. "Wait.. they have names?" she stopped swaying as she processed this news, it was something she was completely oblivious to and all of this time he had never mentioned it before. "I had no idea," she admitted, her hand sliding into his and those tingles swarmed her entire body once more, "what's yours called?"

Connor's keen vision narrowed in on the vampire as he stood under the light on the other side of the street, whoever his companion was had left as the scent was long gone. His shoulders rolled back at the mention of his name and regardless of rank he would still gladly kill this son of a bitch. He didn't need anyones permission to do so either, "A cocky vampire, what a surprise." he stated blandly, his body remaining slightly in front of Gabbies though he knew the vampire could smell the twins from where he was standing. The thought was enough to make him want to throw up on the cobbled streets.

Trent ran his tongue along his lips, cleaning up a slither of blood that remained from his previous kill as he jerked his head over towards where the rest of the pack were, "Shame you didn't extend the invitation out to the rest of us, we really were looking forward to getting to know the family. We had such a good time when we met Dymitrius mistress.. mm what was her name again.." his voice faded and a disgusting smirk appeared, "does it even matter? Her blood was filth either way." Looking over at the angel his eyes scanned her body, stopping at the belly that was currently disguised as a pumpkin, "some would say that the abominations you are carrying shouldn't be allow-"

Connor moved so suddenly that it caught Trent off guard, his body shifting into that of his wolf form and he tackled him to the ground and ripped into the vampires neck. Two more large bites and there was almost nothing remaining and Trent's body lay still and lifeless beneath his thick fur.

Dymitrius felt a chill run through his spine and something wasn’t settling quite right with him. There was trouble, somewhere, he had some kind of sixth sense for it but it was too far away from him to actually pick up on what it is. So for now he shrugged it away and turned his attention toon back to the little companion in front of him. “I never really mentioned it because I didn’t want to bore you with wolf facts.. but now there is so much for me to tell you, I don’t really know where to begin.” He admitted, sliding his fingers between hers and giving it a little squeeze. “Mine is called Brute. We can come up with one for you though, little one. Something strong and courageous, like you are,” he smiled down at her. Did your grandma ever give you a nickname when you were younger?” He asked.

Gabbie froze in her steps. Trent didn’t seem to care that she was being brave in fact it seemed to spur him on and now she was regretting her decision immediately. Print you dare talk about my family, they are nothing of importance to you..” she went to step forward to grab him but Connor had beaten her to it and was ripping the man up before her very eyes. She should have been terrified at this point but instead he was the biggest hero and her heart was beating fast as her husband tore this man up limb from limb, the bastard deserved it and she trusted him. And she stayed still until the man was all but destroyed and she rushed over as quick as she could in her state, crouching down beside Connor, which she was going to regret, running her fingers through his fur. Thank you, wolfie.
