Luna let a knowing smirk form on her lips at the unspoken joke between them and that happiness remained with her as she ran the straighteners through her platinum blonde, almost white, hair which had once been a point of intrigue for her companion. Perhaps if that particular witches curse hadn't happened and her natural almost pure black hair had remained.. would her wolf have been dark as well? As the questions buzzed around inside of her she snapped out of it at Dymitrius comment and what normally would have just been a snarl like expression turned into an audible growl. These damn werewolf traits were already lingering into her personality and she let out an exasperated sigh, "you keep that up and I will dig my new found canines into your pretty face," she warned as she finished with her hair and set the straighteners down to cool. Digging through the trunk of, mainly her, shoes she fished out these boots (here) which even with the heel still didn't bring her eye level of D.

Connor had definitely heard that before and as much as he loved Gabbie her ability to be ready on time had been slacking during the pregnancy. That was something he would never bring up to her, instead he made sure they were up just that little earlier and pushed her to start getting ready sooner than she normally would, to compensate. Idly scrolling through his instagram he saw several photos being uploaded by fellow tribe members from the night before and one both his wife and him were talked in made his heart ache. It was one that was taken when they were in their own little world together, his eyes filled with golden strands as he gazed down at Gabbie who was giving him a wild smile that would impress any jack-o-lantern. It made his heart swell up with warm and he saved the photo, setting it as his new background on his phone but keeping the lockscreen as their wedding photo. "You alright over there?" he asked, lowering his phone as he heard the audible sigh.

Dymitrius put his hands up in a surrender when she growled at him and just smirked at her. “You know, I should probably be scared but that’s really fucking sexy.” He told her, pulling in his suede jacket he hunted in the trunk, pulling out his trusty docs that were torn to pieces which he just couldn’t bring himself to get rid of them. “You’re going to tear me up already huh?” And with that, as soon as she had her boots on his arm hooked behind her knees and threw her over his shoulder, tugging her skirt down for some dignity he carried her down the stairs and to the front door, placing her down safely so she didn’t break her ankle in the process. “Ready to rock and roll?” He asked, shoving his wallet and phone into his pockets and opening up the front door, immediately the hairs on the back of his neck on edge.

Gabbie turned her head to him and shrugged, a little pout, playing in her lips. “I’m just sooooo tired, it’s soooo much effort.” She whined, throwing her hands up in the air in defeat. Okay maybe that was a little dramatic but still, she did feel like the life had been sucked out of her. She did her eyebrows and mascara and added some plumping gloss to her lips before pushing herself up from the stool, frowning. “Jesus that’s so low, I won’t be able to get up from it this time next week.” She complained, having to take in deep breaths as she went over to him, taking his hand and tugging on it gently. “Come in, we better get going.” She told him, spreading a smile onto her lips.

Luna rolled her eyes but that smirk was still across her lips which had a layer of dark red lipstick painted onto them. Waiting for Dymitrius to pull his jacket on she couldn't help but admire him, even after all this time she still couldn't quite believe how effortlessly attractive he was, "Yes and it w-" but she got cut off as she squealed, with almost no effort at all he had scooped her up off the floor and she flopped over his shoulder, kicking her legs playfully, "Dymitrius!" but he was off and they were heading down the stairs. Once she was safely returned onto the floor her eyes narrowed at him but softened moments later, "Ready as I'll ever be." she declared. This would be her first day as luna of the tribe and she had no idea what that would even entail but with D by her side things would surely be fine. Forgoing the motorbike as the tribe meeting point wasn't far from their home she walked side by side, her senses almost immediately overwhelmed by the sounds and smells surrounding them.

Connor raised his brow ever so slightly as she began to whine, "well maybe you shouldn't have done sooooo active last night," his eyes wiggled playfully and the pair laughed. Returning to his phone he sent a few messages to his father who was excited to find out more about his brothers decision to turn Luna and how thrilling this would be for the family. Their father had always been excited at having grandchildren, especially if they were wolves but he was still excited about Connor's unborn twins. "We could slip a pillow under your bum to give you a bit more height while we look for getting a temporary replacement," he suggested, watching as she made her way over to him, "You look gorgeous my love." he pulled her hand up to his lips and pressed a kiss to her knuckles before moving from the bed. The pair took the stairs arm in arm, "is there anything you'd like to do after this meeting?" he asked.

Dymitrius loved the element of surprise that was in the relationship, even after all the times he had done that to her she was still a squealing mess every time. He headed out the door with her, slinging his arm over her shoulder and keeping his head held high. Today was November the 1st and it was the official start of Luna’s reign beside him. She and always been there by his side but now it was well, it was pushed within her and she actually had to do it, not just out of choice. “There’s no need to be nervous today, little one.” He reassured her, turning his head to look down at her, tugging her lip away from her teeth, giving her a small smile. “Everyone already loves you and it’s not like a lot has changed.” He pointed out. Taking a slower walk so she could enjoy everything around them, while he stayed in edge, his nose high in the air to keep out for any trespassers.

Gabbie gasped and hit his chest playfully her cheeks flushing red also. “Well that is all your fault and we will keep it at that.” She poked him playfully raking his hands as he stood up from the bed. “Hmm, or I can just stay ugly for the rest of the pregnancy and not bother looking in the mirror any more.” She grinned a little. “Either that or i get ready in bed too.. that sounds like an even better option.” She grinned, clinging onto his arm as they made this way downstairs and for he front door, shoving her feet into her flip flops because that was about all that fitted her any more and her and Connor had agreed to disagree on them many moons ago. “Not really. I think we should get the nursery finished off though, I want it done sooner rather than later.”

Luna couldn't help but look around the street which had become so familiar over the time they had lived here but now it was like she had entered a new place entirely. She could hear kids playing on a trampoline in a garden further down the street, their laughter filling her up and making her smile without even realising. Turning back to look at Dymitrius as he spoke, "I know nothing about how they.. we .. live, this is all still very new to me and I barely know how to even make the shift between me and my wolf form. " letting out a heavy sigh she kept up the pace alongside him. Even though it was November the cold air was barely a tickle against her now warm blooded skin, "some might argue that I'm an abomination, not everyone is particularly happy about .. mixed breeds." she said the last two words a little quieter, not because she was ashamed but incase anyone was around them.

Connor had a cheeky grin now but he said nothing more on the matter, winding her up was a lot of fun but now was not the time because they had places to be. "That would be difficult considering it's impossible for you to even look ugly," he stated, giving her hand a gentle squeeze of confidence. "I'm surprised you haven't trained me up in how to do your makeup so that you can sleep as I apply all of your lotions and potions," he joked and hoped that it didn't end up becoming some sort of reality because he had no idea how to even apply that black.. stuff that went onto her eyelashes. Slipping his hand out of hers so that he could put on his worn trusty black converse, not bothering with a jacket seeing as he had opted for the jumper. Plus he really didn't need the addition of layers with how warm blooded he was. Locking up behind him he opted for taking the car so that Gabbie didn't have to go through the pain of waddling all the way there, holding the door open for her he helped her into the seat before rounding to the drivers, "that sounds like a good idea. There's a few bits of furniture I still need to knock together and you could guard the screws for me so I don't lose any like last time."

Dymitrius could understand where she was coming from but to him she was nothing but perfection and even if people didn’t entirely agree they wouldn’t bother fighting it with the alpha now. D had made his stances very clear in the tribe and after the little hoohaa with Hugh earlier in his reigning they all understood that D wasn’t here to mess around, he meant business. “You’ll feel it, it will be like your wolf wants to rip out of you and sometimes it can be tamed but other times, there’s no point in fighting it.” He shrugged as he got to the cabin, unlocking the door and flinging it open, holding it open for her. Shrugging off his jacket he put it on the back of his chair, pulling her onto his knee. “We don’t even know if you are mixed breed.” He admitted, his voice a little softer. She still hadn’t tried her magic.

Gabbie raised her eyebrows, rubbing her hands together. “Well now you’ve mentioned it I think that’s a really good idea..” she smirked, shoving him gently. “I’m kidding. But the time I’m ready to pop these kiddos out my need for make up will be out the window.” She laughed, thankful that he opted for the car he got in the passengers seat, tugging her dress down her thighs and stretching her legs outs her hands over her bump as he drove along she grinned. “I feel like I’m very good at that job, and if I’m feeling real clever I could even open a beer bottle or two for you. And we still need to come up with some names.” She mentioned, sitting comfortable in the seat, humming along to the radio, gazing out the window.

Luna didn't particularly like the sound of being ripped apart from the inside out just to transform but surely it would just take time for her to adjust. Following him inside the cabin she huffed faintly, pushing some of her hair out of her face as they made their way to Dymitrius seat which was much fancier than the rest that filled the room. Her eyes lingered to the cell at the back where she had spent a few week or so locked up thanks to Seth. Leaning herself back against his chest she crossed one leg over the other, making herself very comfortable on his knee but his words made her grimace ever so slightly, "Yes well," she closed her eyes for a moment, deciding what the best words to use would actually be, "I'm going to remain optimistic, even if I can't feel my power right now it might be because of how much my body broke to allow for this new life to take its place." Excuses, it was an excuse she had made up in her mind to make herself feel better about the possible loss of her magic.

Connor opened his mouth to protest about how he has the creative skill of a hardened noodle but thankfully she confessed it was only a joke, causing him to let out a sigh. "Or maybe three?" he said with a cheeky eyebrow waggle. "Names.. still the hardest part of all of this, they really should make a catalogue for new parents to browse during the pregnancy. It could be called Names R Us." the thought only made him laugh and as the music on the radio became familiar the pair sang along in time as he drove to the cabin. Pulling up into one of the many spaces he turned the engine off, his eyes surveying the area and noticed a few people entering ahead of them but no signs of vampires, "hopefully someone has decent intel on these vamps because I really don't fancy having to go out on a hunt tonight." And with that he got out of the car, hurrying round to Gabbie's side to offer her a hand out so that she didn't hurt herself or the twins.

Dymitrius could feel the stress begin to stir in her and it was deep within him too and he reached up, reaching  his index finger against her imprint and then turned her chin so she was facing him. “Whatever the fuck is going in inside you we are going to work it out. I don’t care if you become a swamp monster, I’m going to fucking love every inch of touch forever because guess what, you’re my soul mate, little one.” He squeezed her hand, about to lean into her lips when the tribe began to flood in and he cleared his throat, turning his head and greeting everyone as they began to take their seats but he kept his love on his lap, he rather liked having her this close and well, they had accommodated a little more space for Gabbie who had her own comfy chair now. He still liked to include her in tribe meetings, even if she wasn’t actually a wolf.

Gabbie nodded his head. “Three is the magic number after all.” She pulled out her phone and did a quick google of baby names, reading a few out loud but neither of them could settle on anything and she just sighed, putting her phone back into the pocket she let the seatbelt go and with his help she heaved herself out of the car, grasping onto the car frame to get herself out and then taking his hand and walking to the cabin, keeping close to his side because she could tell he was anxious and so they hurried inside and she settled herself into the comfy seat that D had so kindly got for her, wiggling from side to side and humming. For someone who had had her life threatened last night by a vampire she was certainly in high spirits.

Luna felt her body respond to his touch, like a lion being tamed, her heart began to steady and that stress that had formed was fading away. "Even if I turn into a swamp monster?" she asked with a raised brow but there was a clear smile on her face now and she leaned in to kiss him but the sound of the door opening made her pull back and they both cleared their throats in unison. Neither of them wanting to start of this meeting with a public display of affection waiting for the members. Normally she would have taken a seat beside him but as his arm wrapped protectively around her waist she remained sitting there. Watching as members filtered in and gave several of them a smile, especially Gabbie when she came in but fell silent as Dymitrius spoke to the room as a whole. Whenever he used his alpha voice it made her ooze respect for him but it never intimidated her.

Connor shot down every name that Gabbie said, none of them sounded right not for such precious lives that were due to into this world at some point this month. Their names needed to scream power, confidence, independence and possibly most important, kindness. Nothing simple like Joe, Ben or Sue would suffice. Wrapping his arm around his wife he kept her close as they hurried into the cabin, nodding his head slightly at a few of the others that had arrived but a cheeky smirk appeared on his lips at the sight of his brother and Luna, Can't get enough of your new wolf? he said into D's head as he took his own seat. Not everyone was in attendance, especially none of the younger members, considering the seriousness of what they were about to discuss.

Roman waited until Dymitrius had addressed the room at large before he rose to his feet, a bow of his head to both his alpha and his luna, "Firstly, I speak on behalf of everyone in this room, we are all ecstatic to have Luna as our luna. It's a great privilege to have such powerful leadership for this tribe." But as he finished speaking there was a grumble from the other side of the room and all eyes turned to the wolf that had muttered under his breath.

Sierra had muttered under her breath at Roman's words and everyone had turned to her so she rose to her feet effortlessly. Her eyes flashed at Connor, like they so often did during these meetings even after he had made it clear that things between them had been a mistake. Looking back to Dymitrius she bowed her head slightly before speaking, "Roman does not speak for all of us, there are some that are weary about what exactly you have created. You went against ancient law by turning a species other than human, she could be a liability."

Dymitrius just smirked at her stupid notions but it was true, the girl could grow five heads and turn into a lizard and he’d just get a tank for her and keep her safe for the rest of her life, he loved her too damn much. His eyes flickered to his brother and he raised his eyebrows. Maybe you should try it with gabbie, I could only imagine the fun you the would have. He joked. But he knew his brother would never do that and Gabbie would never let him either, she was having way too much fun being the devils daughter to want to be a boring wolf. Her words, not his. He watched as everyone poured into the room and he smiled with satisfaction. “I’m glad you were all able to make it. As always I apologise for the short notice but I thought it was important we all discuss the risks that are being imposed on us by rogue rivals.” He turned to roman and bowed his head. “Thank you..” but he was cut off by one particular wolf who he knew was a trouble maker within the tribe, she just couldn’t seem to settle in any walk if their life. “Sierra..” he warned, putting his finger up to her but she didn’t stop.

Gabbie rubbed her bump gently, doing a little ‘woo’ here and there as they praised Luna. She agreed, completely, she couldn’t think of anyone better to be beside their alpha, she was so brave and strong. The hairs on the back of her neck prickled as that infamous voice strained her ears and it was a surprise Gabbies head didn’t snap off her neck with the speed she turned her head to glare at Sierra. If it was possible she hated this woman more than she hated Eden. “I think you need to stop right there. What have you ever done for this tribe, Sierra? Apart from trying to tear marriages apart and upset everyone’s path you walk against. Luna has done nothing but good she supports each and every one of you and you would be fucking nothing without her!” She exclaimed, her eyes becoming a little darker as the little demon within her tried to wriggle free, but Gabbie wouldn’t allow it right now.

Sierra simply ignored her alpha when he tried to stop her, she never would back down unless given a direct order and this was something that should have been discussed with he tribe. But as she went to continue speaking the pathetic dulcet tones of that angel / devil creature filled the room and she took a few steps towards the centre of the cabin circle so that she could get a better view, "Oh is the round spectator trying to have an opinion about something that has nothing to do with her? How sweet." A wicked smile now on her lips as she flexed her fingers, eyes going dark, "Connor came running to me for a good time, not the other way around sweetheart. He wanted a taste of something you can't give him, even if he got you knocked up." Her eyes were practically feral now.

Luna had smiled momentarily during Romans words but as Sierra rose from her seat she knew a storm was brewing. Unlike Dymitrius she didn't speak, letting the she-wolf voice her concerns and as she opened her mouth to speak Gabbie had spoken in her defence. With ease she rose from D's lap and with a few steps across the cabin she stood in front of Sierra, "For such a pretty face you are filled with such anger." Keeping her tone of voice steady she sounded almost bored of what was happening, tilting her head slightly to the side before beginning to walk around her, "You have every right to be sceptical of me but unless you are going to directly challenge me then I suggest you sit down and resist from spitting venom across the floor." It was any tribe members right to challenge either the alpha or luna, unheard of yes and it meant a rather brutal fight may occur but it was werewolf tradition.

Connor could feel the rage spiralling through his wife and he rested a hand on her leg to keep her seated, his own dark eyes darting toward Sierra as she began to air out the dirty laundry to the entire room. Many gave low gasps as they had no idea that anything had gone on between them and he tensed, ready to throw himself up there but Luna had rose looking rather bored with the proceedings. But at the mention of a direct challenge his eyes shifted immediately to his brother She's far too young Sierra will rip her to shreds if she challenges her. he spoke into his brothers mind before sliding into Gabbies, You need to remain calm my love your eyes are darkening.

Dymitrius growled as this little meeting if his began to turn sour. This was the opposite of what he wanted and he ws she coming furious with the way that Sierra thought she could talk about his companion like that. His eyes flowed a dangerous red colour and his fist clenched but he didn’t even get a look in as Luna began to move closer and he simply lifted his hand to ward off Gabbie, who looked ready to explode and it was the last thing the babies would need right now, and as their alpha he was there to ensure their safety just as much as Connor was there. He stood up too, but stayed in his place, his hands behind his back in a very confident stance. I know brother, but it won’t come to that, believe me. “Sierra Constantine, may I ask you, I’d you hate on this tribe so much, if you question my movements, why on earth are you still part of our pack?” He asked her. “Is it because you lead such an awfully lonely life? Or you feel tied to us? Because I’m more than happy to exhale you and black mark your name from us, or any tribe within a thousand mile radius.” His voice was calm but the hatred was there.

Gabbie couldn’t help herself. Luna had done so much for her, with protecting the babies and just generally being an ear she could chew on when she needed someone to grumble to. And well Sierra needed taking down a peg or ten because her ego was so big that she was surprised she’d fitted into the room this evening. “Connor was vulnerable and you preyed on him, and he regretted it ever since. You are nothing but a waste of space in this tribe and I’m going to make sure you suffer when you’re dragged to hell.” She promised her, clear danger in her eyes which softened as Connor focused in on her and she pouted, looking down into her lap. She deserves it. I’m going to rip her to pieces if she says another word, and that’s a promise. She shrugged, clenching and unclenching her hands in an attempt to keep herself sane.

Sierra had a nasty smile on her lips as she watched Luna size her up, she would be easy to take down considering she had been a werewolf for less than 24 hours and no one had seen a speck of magic at the party since she was transformed. But before she could respond to her Gabbie pipped up and she just snarled at the angel, baring her teeth. Her attention finally turned to Dymitrius and her hand clenched into a fist before relaxing, "This tribe has been my home since the day I was born, my family have been loyal for centuries. They gave their lives to protecting this tribe yet you threaten to exile me Dymitrius? You were an outsider not so long ago but you waltzed in here radiating power and Seth saw that. He saw your potential. I have no qualms with following your leadership but your choices went against tradition." The words were like pure venom as she spoke before turning to look at Luna who now stood in front of her, "I, Sierra Constantine, challenge against the newly appointed luna to test whether she is worthy of such title."

Luna turned her head to Dymitrius as he spoke, his voice was so calm but she knew he meant every last word of it. There was a fierce loyalty inside of him and it was clear that anyone disrespecting his companion didn't stand a damn chance. Yet Sierra was far too head strong and proud to back down, not now that she had created a scene in front of the entire tribe. This was a dangerous game to play and she stood there silently eyeing up her opponent, glancing over at Gabbie momentarily who looked positively livid. Gabbie had been a victim of this girls homewrecking abilities and for that alone Luna would happily take her out, "I accept."

Connor flinched at the word vulnerable while it was true it wasn't something that werewolves ever wanted to be referred to as. It brought a level of shame to their kind but it was wholly true, with the hellhound taking full control and warping his mind it had been hard for the true Connor to hold court in his own mind. You will get your chance to rip her down for all that she has done but now isn't the right time. But he could feel how serious his soul mate was which, in part, scared him as well as made him swell with a layer of pride. His eyes were flickering around the room as words were thrown around but his body stiffened when the challenge was laid down, "This is ridiculous Sierra, we have a coven of vampires threatening our territory and here you are idly miss placing your attention."

Dymitrius gave her the most confident nod of his head. “Without a doubt, I’d exhale you in a heartbeat but unfortunately I have morales and my brain is telling me I need a real reason to get rid of you, and apparently you fucking with my family isn’t a good enough one.” He stayed silent as she explained herself and he shrugged about to reply when she challenged Luna and he audibly groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose and shaking his head. Even if Luna was one of the strongest women he’d ever met her wolf was a day old and would never withstand a fight against a mature she wolf like Sierra. “Give us one week. This time next week we will allow the challenge.” The room fell silent and his eyes locked on Luna’s, focusing on her mind. Me and Connor will train you, little one, you will be okay. He promised her, clearing his throat the room fell silent. “Now if the dramatics are over I’d like to face the real problem. Vampires are trying to infiltrate our area and last night they got close, real fucking close. We cannot let this happen again and we need to find out their plans.” he turned his head to Gabbie, giving her a small smile. “Could you tell us what happened last night?”

Gabbie let Connors words sink in and they did comfort her a little but she sulked further into her seat, flinching just a little when Sierra snarled at her. When D or Connor did it she just found it funny or sexy but it genuinely frightened her when Sierra did it, because the meaning was so much clearer. She had a feeling Sierra would side with those damn leaches if they ever came close to her again. She settled into her death her hands resting on the underside of her bump to support the weight of it as the room began to settle again and as soon as D finished talking it felt like all eyes were on her and she gulped but nodded. “Me and Connor were heading home, and they came out of nowhere. They were fearless. Luckily Connor managed to get a hold of one but the other fled so he, they, whatever they were, could be anywhere. We didn’t see where they went.” She shrugged.

Sierra bore her teeth at both her alpha and wannabe luna, "fine, a week today it is and there will be no interference from anyone on the day." With that she turned away and sat herself back down, one of the males beside her patting her on the back and congratulating her for standing up for herself.

Luna didn't even turn to look at Dymitrius when he spoke but instead she stood her ground and with a sweet smile she bowed her head ever so slightly, "wouldn't dream of asking for anyones help to prove myself." Only once Sierra had sat down did she return to the comfort of Dymitrius lap, her body leaning back to rest against his chest but she didn't let the concern show on her face but it was lingering deep within her. Focusing herself on D's mind she replied, Thank you, there's no way in hell I'm going to let her get away with that display. Turning her gaze over to Gabbie and Connor as they began to discuss the previous nights events.

Connor was thankful that his brother was keeping a sensible head on his shoulders, exiling members for personal vendettas was a very dangerous game to play and was the first step to a rebellion or rival gang being created. Asking for a week was also a sensible move, especially if Luna had lost her magic she would be pummelled if she tried to fight right now. Once the topic shifted to vampires he sat himself up, holding onto Gabbie's hand as she spoke. "They knew who we were, by name not just species. Whatever they are cooking up its more than just trying to get a slice of territory." he paused momentarily before pushing on, "The one I killed made reference to the attack on Sasha, so it would be safe to say the two incidents are linked but by what is unclear."
