Gabbie count get over all the surprises that came with him being a werewolf. "I have so much to learn, honestly, you're gonna have to teach me so much Connor cos all I know is the evil bits. And I have a feeling there's a lot more I need to know about you." She followed him along, he seemed to know where he was going and he had the directions on his phone. "Shh, we don't need to talk about what I did at university.. maybe just once or twice but it was to the little local bar. That's where my love for rock music comes from, they used to have little gigs. I'd record them in my phone and then listen back to them."

"Ah so you have been a rebel even before me?" he grinned, it was cute imaging Gabbie sneaking off to bars and falling in love with rock music. He could only imagine what her mother would say if she ever knew. "maybe we should go to a gig then at some point, I'm sure somewhere around here does them"

Gabbie chewed on the inside of her mouth. "The sing thing is more like a ceremony, they say it's a birthday but it's just the birth of your scars more than anything. You don't get presents or anything." Her thumb stroked over his knuckles as they walked along, the happiness he was feeling was radiating in her and it made her feel so high. "I mean when you're told not to do something as a teenager all you want to do is do it, right? But I never did anything more than have a couple of drinks, I wasn't a complete badass I'm afraid." She walked up to the little pub and went inside. It was quiet and cute.

Once they arrived to the pub he held the door open for her as they went inside, "Perhaps you need to have your badass teenage moment then, it would only be fair." he chuckled as they went up to the bar, "can I get a beer and," he turned to Gabbie, "was it coke and vodka you liked?" he asked, trying to remember back to the barbecue and what it was she was drinking.

Gabbie shook her head at him. "You definitely don't need to buy me presents, my birthdays only remind me how closer I am to my inevitable death." She shook her head and shuddered at the thought. Slidngnndxt to him, she had her ID ready in the back of her phone, something she always carried because people just didn't believe that she was 20 most of the time. "Yeah that's the one, thank you." She kissed his cheek and then went and found them a little table to sit at. The pub was slightly older and it smelt like smoke but Gabbie was just enjoying the freeing experience.

He didn't get asked for ID at the bar, he definitely looked his age if not slightly older with his build. He passed over some money and waited for the drinks to be made, taking them over to the table that Gabbie had managed to find. "For you princess," he said as he placed her drink down in front of her before taking his own seat. "This is a nice little place, always love family run pubs."

Gabbie had always hated her birthday, her mother just reminded her that she was an adult and that she needed to decide in what job she was going to choose and to stick to it. Preferably a house wife but that wasn't what was calling Gabbies name. She took her drink from him and stirred it with the straw before taking a big slurp of item wincing at the intensity of it. "Jesus, I won't be needing many of him.." she laughed quietly, crossing One leg over the other.

Connor drank from his glass, his eyes looking around the pub. There wasn't too many people here at the moment, a couple of recognisable vampires drinking what he could only assume were bloody Marys. His attention turned back to Gabbie when she spoke and he laughed, "is it stronger than your use too?" he asked, taking another sip from his own drink. "you can have as many or as few of those as you want princess. This is our day and I'm not gonna stop you, unless you start doing something silly."

"That sounds good, just chill out and have some fun, I like that." she was normally a little hesitant around alcohol but she was going to let her hair down and enjoy her evening and she sipped the vodka and Coke a little quicker. "Okay but I oorbsbky shouldn't go back there drunk, I'll be on minus angel points." She laughed, stirring her glass with the drink.

"Do you know how to play?" he asked, not wanting her to be lost if this was her first time.

Gabbie finished off her drink sinthst she didn't have to carry it over with her. They'd probably lose their table but she wouldn't put down having a game with him. She picked up the stick and twirled it around in her hands, watching him. "Not really but you just have to choose spots or stripes and shoot, right? I think I will manage that." She watched him break the triangle and followed in his step, going for the stripey ones she went for her first shot, leaning over the table to get to it.

"Nice, look at you go already." he chuckled, before taking his own shot and getting two of the spots into the holes.

She did her bit and then it was his go again and she watched how his back muscles rippled as he concentrated and it was giving her the butterflies real hard. Not only was he the loveliest man ever but she was lucky to have a soul mate who was so handsome. She leaned to the side and twirled the stick about, waiting for her turn and pouting when she potted the white one. "Damn, I dunno what that means but I know it's not good."

Gabbie crossed her arms over, she was gonna fall way behind now and definitely lose, but Connor was having a good time and it was a way to pass the evening too. Anything so she didn't have to go back to the nunnery and be treated like a slave. She smiled even more, the little way he'd shortened her name sounded right coming from him, she still hadn't come up with a cute nickname for him. "Until I'm the perfect little angel and have repented my sins and my hair finally goes the blonde, so probably the rest of my life?" She laughed, shrugging.
