The short drive was in complete silence and her head was racing, she didn't realise this was how she was going to be treated which now had her thinking she really should have ran away. "I'm coming!" she shouted when he grabbed her hair, quickly hurrying out of the car and looking at him, fear was starting to settle in and he knew it. She followed him inside his house, her heart sinking as she realised his dad wasn't home yet.

Connor couldn't quite believe it, her father was the devil, satan. How could this even be possible. "wait he wants to meet me?" he said, a little bit of panic in his voice, "jeez this is mental." he said with a bit of a laugh, running his hand through his hair to distract himself a little bit. "I never could have imagined the devil to be.. nice?! what was hell like?" he said, but realised he was maybe bombarding her with questions. "this is mad Gabbie, but it does explain a lot of things. So you are a hybrid of angel and demon? thats so much more than a fallen angel like well your dad." he couldn't quite wrap his head around everything and he had to sit back down on the bench.

She realised she hadn't asked too many questions and now she had about a thousand more buzzing around her head, but that could wait until her next time she saw him. She sat down on the bench next to him, letting out a little giggle at how shocked he was. "Basically. And he said with wearing this necklace slowly I will get more powerful. I wonder what that means."

Connor sat listening to her speak, she sounded so excited about all of this but he wasn't so sure how to feel. Demons were known for being, well, devilish so it seemed only right for him to be sceptical at least for the time being. "That makes sense I suppose, I'm not suppose to exist like I do here in hell." he said, watching as she sat herself down beside him moved his gaze to the necklace, "it's a beautiful necklace," he said, admiring it carefully before looking up into her eyes, "do you think we should maybe talk to your mother, I know you don't see eye to eye but maybe she will tell you her side of the story?" he reached his hand out to hers and held it, their fingers interlocking.

Gabbie could feel his heart wasn't totally in it, he was doubting the whole situation a little and she frowned at him. "You do still love me, don't you Connor? I'm not a different person, I'm still me.." she was just so excited to be finally working out who it meant to be Gabriella. The necklace was making her feel so much better already, she sat with her back straight and her head held high while she spoke to him. "I think now is the perfect opportunity to speak to my mother, she has a hell of an lot of explaining to do." She nodded, her smile growing when Connor held her hand.

He squeezed her hand, holding it in his as he looked into her eyes, "I will stand by your side through all of this, I promise you that." as she began to smile once again he relaxed, feeling a bit more at ease. "then lets go, there's no time like the present.. plus, I might need to stop off to find my brother tonight once we've seen your mum. He's really in the shit, would you mind coming with me?"

Im never going to change who I am, this is who I am and if you don't like that or can't accept that.." she couldn't finish her sentence but was relieved that he would be by her side no matter what, it sent a little bit of reassurance through her veins. She stood up again and tugged on his hand to pull him up, squeezing her fingers against his. "I just can't believe my mother thought she could get away with this." Shaking her head, she walked over to his bike slowly. "Of course I will, you've supported me through all of this, I will do the same for you."

Now it is my understanding that you and Dymitrius are rather close, " he said, looking at her top and then back to her, "That needs to end." moving away from them he said over his shoulder, "Take her home son, she needs to freshen up for tonight."

Connor hated seeing her frown, and she sounded disappointed in him but surely it was only natural to panic? His girlfriend had just uncovered a pretty massive secret about herself that could be life changing. "and I love you, all of you." he said, pressing a kiss to her lips as he got up to his feet, his hand in hers. "Wonder what possessed her to try and hide all of this, as if you wouldn't find out eventually?" as they walked to the motorbike he smiled, "thank you Gabbie, together we will get through anything and everything life throws at us." He passed her the helmet before getting onto the bike, waiting for the familiar feeling of her hands against his sides before kicking off and driving in the direction of home which was a good half hour away but he managed to make incredible time by breaking the speed limit significantly.

Everything was starting to look good for her and she was feeling more like herself with every second that she was existing with the necklace around her. And he was right, no matter what they were going to go through they were soul mates and nothing could break them apart now they had that connection, it was just too special. She squeezed his waist as he sped along, slowly pulling up intintheir street.

Connor slowed the bike down as they pulled into the street, approaching the outside of her house. He wasn't entirely sure how this would go down, the last time he had been near her mother she could barely stand the sight of him. Kicking the stand down and turning the engine off he noticed a few blocks down Luna and Emmanuel looking fairly cosy which seemed bizarre considering what he knew, but now wasn't the time for that. Turning to Gabbie he went to speak but was suddenly interrupted.

Gabbies mum had already received a call advising her that her daughter was missing for the second time from the nunnery and when she heard the bike stop outside her house she knew exactly who it would be. She rushed to the front door, throwing it open to see her daughter step off of the bike, "What in God's name are you doing here Gabbie?! and with him AGAIN!"

"You know why he is here, mother, he is my soul mate. But you have some explaining to do." Gabbies eyes had changed from their pale blue colour to a very dark colour. "I met my father, today. Oh yeah, nice to know you forgot to mention that my father is the devil!"

Gabbies mum was ready to unleash hell upon her daughter, the anger boiling inside her could have burned down the whole street but the moment she saw the change in her daughters eye colour she completely froze up. "You met him..?" she managed, her eyes wide, "fuck come inside.. both of you." she said, pulling on her daughters wrist to get her inside before shutting the door. "how did he find you Gabriella? What did you do?"

Connor hovered uncertainly, letting Gabbie do the talking. She was remaining much calmer than he ever could if the situation was in reverse and when Gabbie's mum encouraged them to come inside he obliged. The house was just as he remembered it from when he snuck it, pure white with hints of decoration. "She didn't do anything, he found her."

Gabbie was a little shocked that her mother invited Connor in as well but was glad, she definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without him, he was her rock and half of her strength came from him. And Connor had found his voice too and it was great to hear him talking back to her mother. She sat in the leather sofa, taking her shoes off she leaned her elbow in the arm. "One of his demons found me and took me to him. Why didn't you tell me who I was, Mom? All these years of forcing me into a box I was never going to fit in."

I didn't realise who he was at first but he wanted to make a deal, he could help me on my path to purity so that I could get the power and job I have now.. on the condition that I would owe him a favour. I was young and naive so blindly agreed. Then later in life he found me.. and I realised I had made a deal with the devil, and he wanted a child. A prodigy. You."

I'm going to stay here, and I'm going to see my boyfriend every day, and I'm going to go back to university, too."

Gabbies mum knew she had to make a decision there and then, having her daughter live in her home would mean being able to at least keep an eye on her or shun her out and potentially lose her to the devil forever. "okay, I'll let you come back here and you can see .. him," she said gesturing to Connor, "whenever you want. But you need to tell me if you are in contact with your father again. He may seem sweet Gabbie but he is manipulative and cunning."

Connor leaned forward slightly in his seat, "I'll protect her from any harm ma'am. I know you don't particularly like me but I love your daughter. But you can't keep forcing her to be something she isn't, otherwise you are going to lose her from your life and I don't think that's what you want at all."
