Once they arrived at the lakeside Connor lowered himself to the ground beside Gabbie, his eyes taking in her beauty in the moons glow. He had never been around someone so irresistible and it was setting him into overdrive. "It's crazy to hear that thats what you are taught, there is so much prejudice against my kind no wonder so many are scared of us." he let out a small sigh, looking up to the stars for a moment as if looking for a sign, "I could meet you on the border of this .. community. I'm very stealthy and quiet." he said softly, turning back to look at her, his hand still in hers. "you feel this connection as well .. don't you Gabbie?"

Gabbie moved so that she was a little closer to him, having him next to her was like a wave of tranquility and she didn't know why she had been taught to be so afraid, when Connor was the best damn person she'd ever spoken to. "Yeah.. I can safely say I don't agree with it though. You're definitely not a bad guy. Your brother, maybe. But not you." She smiled up st him, his deep eyes were twinkling in the moon light, his skin so clear and beautiful. "I'd like that.. I really would. Look at you being a bad influence on me.." shebteased him, nudging him very gently with her elbow. Falling silent at his last sentence. "I do.. I can feel it in me.." she whispered, looking down at their hands.

Connor wanted to bundle Gabbie into his arms and hug her, hold her against his chest and feel her heart beating against his, but he didn't want to scare her off considering she was already outside of her comfort zone and breaking all of her rules already. "Dymitrius isn't all bad, he's just motivated different to me." he said with a small laugh, "but he's a good guy when it comes down to it." his eyes locked with Gabbie and he couldn't stop himself from letting his hand run across her cheek to move some hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry for leading you astray but I just can't help myself.. you are just incredible. "

Gabbie didn't know how she could feel such a connection with someone that she'd only met thst day, but maybe that's all it took when you were soulmates. She'd had a little training on the issue, how it worked and now it made your body feel, but she was still quite young and had never had any experience in love before. "I guess I just don't know him like I know you. Which sounds silly because I've only known you for a few hours but still." She moved so that she was sat in the gap between his outstretched legs, and reached out, her hands in his chest, and it were as if electricity went through them both. "It's just right." She agreed.

The moment her hands rested on his chest the feeling that ran through his veins was insane. "every time you touch me it feels like something is flowing through my veins it's magical." he said, letting one of his hands fall on top of hers, holding it there against his chest.

She let her fingers tap gently against his chest, kneeling up from the ground so that their faces were closer. She couldn't get enough of him, she felt addicted and the thought of having to go away from him made her heart ache. "I've never felt anything like this before.." her blue eyes twinkled under the moonlight. "But how can it be.. we're different species.." she said quietly. Like it was a secret just between the two of them.

Connor was nodding his head in agreement, everything she was saying summed up how he was feeling. It was such an intense connection and it seemed to spark the moment the attack happened. Like somehow when they touched it just ignited something that had maybe already been there. "do you believe in fate? because I do.." he said softly as she got closer to him. "do you think that we are.. soul mates?" he said, finally admitting what his mind had been thinking for the passed few minutes. It was rare for different species to be bonded as soul mates, in fact he had never heard of it in his lifetime.

It was like their whole bodies connected and the power that filled her was overwhelming. "Soul mates." She repeated, not quite believing it. She arms wrapped around his neck as she lay her chest to his.

She didn't want to cry, this was supposed to be a happy moment between day had been chaotic with being exposed to so many things she never even knew existed but being with this boy was the only thing that seemed to make sense. "shit," he said more to himself, slipping his jacket off and placing it on top of her head to keep her dry, "maybe we should head back, don't want you getting soaked through to the core. A cold would look fairly suspicious considering the lovely weather you were out in earlier today." he said with a small laugh.

Gabbie couldn't believe how good it felt to be held by him, his body had so much warmth and it comforted her. And the more she was getting to know him, the more she was doubting everything else her mother had ever told her. Was everything she'd been taught a complete lie? Scrunching her face up when she felt the rain she huddled herself under his jacket, letting the aftershave on it linger around her, it was like a drug she couldn't get enough of. Just his smell was enough for her. "Yeah that wouldn't be a very good way to start." She climbed off his lap and got up, holding her hand out for him.

Connor Got up to his feet, giving her his hand to help her off of the ground. Though once she was standing he didn't let go of her hand, instead he pulled her in close to him, draping his arm over her shoulder so that she could feel some of his warmth. As they walked he thought of a million ways that they could keep her hidden from her mum so that she didn't need to leave, but he knew deep down that none of them would work. "let me know if you find out when she is going to have you move.. but hopefully I can see you again tomorrow at some point?" he said as they approached her house once again.

Gabbie huddled herself to his side under his arm, her one arm around his waist to support against him and they slowly headed back home, and there was a little thump forming in her throat and the feeling she was going to have to let go of him. "I think she already has the plans in motions but i hope I can see you just a couple more times." She stopped just before her house, taking the jacket off her head, she leaned up and pressed her lips ever so carefully to his. It just felt right. She had to, she had to see if it was true. And nothing had ever felt more honest than that kiss. "Text me okay?"

Connor hoped that they could see each other soon, as soon as they possibly could and when her lips touched his it felt like fireflies had filled his inside. He held her lips against his just for a moment, not wanting to be greedy, "of course, sleep well." he said before making sure she got inside alright. He turned and headed back to his own house, spotting Dymitrius coming in the backdoor at the same time. "Looks like you were out late as well huh?" he said with a bit of a grin on his lips. How could he not grin? he just just kissed the most beautiful girl he had ever met.
