D took the cigarette back between his fingers and finished it off. It was definitely a habit he wanted to kick but in times like this, he couldn't think of any other way to calm his nerves, he was such a strong character that feeling on edge made him want to be sick. "Maybe my voice of reason has become seductive or something, I dunno I don't know what it sounds like I sound fine in my own head." He laughed, lifting his arm up for her to come and cuddle into his body, holding her close to him. "Well I didn't mean it like thst but now you've got me admitting all ties of feels, so thanks." His cheeks went a little pink, grinning down at her, his thumb coming up to rest against her smirk. "If you do thst too much your face will get stuck like it."
Gabbie moved so that she was a little closer to him, having him next to her was like a wave of tranquility and she didn't know why she had been taught to be so afraid, when Connor was the best damn person she'd ever spoken to. "Yeah.. I can safely say I don't agree with it though. You're definitely not a bad guy. Your brother, maybe. But not you." She smiled up st him, his deep eyes were twinkling in the moon light, his skin so clear and beautiful. "I'd like that.. I really would. Look at you being a bad influence on me.." shebteased him, nudging him very gently with her elbow. Falling silent at his last sentence. "I do.. I can feel it in me.." she whispered, looking down at their hands.
