D turned to the side when he heard his brother and smiled to himself, pausing as he slid the door open. "Yeah, I guess we can have each other's backs in this one, if you don't say anything I won't either." He out a finger to his lips and went inskde, keeping the lights off, but their father was one step ahead and was waiting in the dining room for them, standing in front of the table with his arms over his chest. "I hold a meeting like thst, you say you're stepping up and then you just run off like you have no responsibilities?" He turned his eyes to Connor. "And you, I expect much better from you, where have you been?"
Gabbie smiled. "Good night, Connor." She slipped through her front door, taking her converse off she rested them next to the door and slipped up the stairs, light on her feet, and into her room. Thankful that her mother hadn't risen and checked on her, she turned her phone back on and turned her location back on, sliding out of her clothes she slid back into her pyjamas and lay on her bed, hugging a pillow. She couldn't believe her luck, or maybe lack of it. She'd found her soul mate, her one true love that she was supposed to be with forever. But he was a beast that she was supposed to hate. It was all just so confusing.
