Gabbie couldn't believe it. This meant that Connor would have some kind of high status right? He was the alphas brother which meant their family would always be protected which was a relief for her. "Well we will definitely be at the ceremony won't be, Connor?" She nodded over at him and then got up, little Shaun could never stay still for very long so she took his hand and headed into the living room, sitting on the floor eithnhim. He still had that little wolf toy from when they had the barbecue and she wondered what Luna would be up to right now. D hadn't mentioned anything about her for a while and she just presumed she was no longer in the picture.

Shaun had quickly gotten bored of spending time on Gabbies lap and once she was up on her feet he did a dash for the living room where he flopped onto the floor and began playing with his miniature Dymitrius wolf toy. He playfully growled as he let it run across the carpet but he lifted his gaze to look at Gabbie and he let out a little cute growl at her, his eyes glowing yellow.

Sasha had managed to find Elder Thomas but he had yet again proven to be rather useless at magic so her hand wasn't exactly healed but it looked better than before. She arrived home and frowned as she tried to open the front door but it was locked, using her keys she let herself back inside. Once this alpha ceremony was done they could give up renting this stupid flat and move in to the luxury home built for the alpha and it made her have butterflies. Though her mind was still focused on the damn ring which she had searched all over town for but had no luck finding.

D might have been Connors brother and she knew the bond was important but damn, she just thought he was a bit of a sleazeball and she'd been proven right many gimes, she'd seen the way he perked on her sometimes and it freaked her out. But watching Shaun, he took after Sasha much more and she couldn't wait for the day her and Connor had a little wolf angel hybrid runnin sriund, maybe they'd take after Connor or they'd be little wolves with wings, that would have been amazing. "Grrrr!" She did a funny little growl back.

Luna had finished off two films now and was starting to get rather bored so she moved to browsing the internet a little before texting the only number saved on the phone, Dymitrius, we seem to have hit a slight snag, I was never given your personal assistants number but it is lunch time and the oldddd alpha would usually bring me something to eat around now x

Gabbie shuffled herself back so that her back was flat to the sofa and she stretched her legs out, turning the tv in too. Her hangover was still hanging over her heavily but the food and water had definitely helped and made her feel more human.. well, not human, but more alive definitely. She picked her phone up when she heard it buzz and sighed a little. She was still in a little bit of a mood with Sasha, after all for Gabbie to be in such an intoxicated state it was dangerous. That's okay, I left soon after and got home safe. Hope ur okay. Yeah he's talking to Connor st the mo! Amazing news. Bet you can't raja fir your new home lol x she sent, and then scrolled through her snapchat story from last night.

Sasha had flopped herself onto the sofa, her bad mood just getting worse as she read her friends reply. She wouldn't be shocked she was still angry at her for last night, it was all her fault but the last thing she would admit was why she pushed her so far, thats good, yeah I'm all healed up .. just about Thomas is a bit shit at his job lol. can't wait!! would be bliss to get out this apartment x

Luna was impressed at how quickly Dymitrius had replied but it seemed he was back to being eager to speak to her, are you flirting with the enemy mr diamond? because if so I'm in ; ) x After hitting send she let out a little yawn as she rested the phone onto the table and rolled up her top to check on the bite marks from Sasha and the other goons. Before Dymitrius had touched her they were still looking rather gruesome but now they were almost entirely gone which shouldn't be possible considering the fact Emmanuels imprint was still on her. Fixing her top back in place her head lifted as the door of the cabin opened up and there he was looking just as incredible as before. "you don't waste any time do you?" she said with a cheeky smirk as she moved her feet off the table.

Poor Thomas, he was such a lovely guy but he was pretty useless when his powers were compared to Luna. Maybe with Gabbies angelic healing it would make them more bearable for Sasha. She pushed herself up from the floor when the front door closed and she went over to Connor, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning up on her tip toes so her face was closer to his. "That would be awesome, I'd really like it if your fsther was there. He was welcoming of me.. even if he didn't agree with it." She'd never really asked about his mother, him nor D had ever spoken about her.

Connor had been grateful that his father was somewhat accepting of Gabbie, he clearly was happy for Connor in some ways that he had managed to find true love. It helped that he had never aspired to be anything significant in the tribe other than a helper and occasionally a fighter. The standards set upon him were never as strict as they were on his brother. "I think he would love you if he was given the time to really get to know you." he slid his arms around Gabbies waist and picked her up off the floor ever so slightly to give her one small spin before playing her back down. "but I have something for you so stay right there." and with a grin he nipped off into the cupboard to remove a present that was wrapped in white paper and had a bow. Handing it over he watched as she opened the large empty wedding planning scrapbook he had bought her.

Xx she shoved her phone away again and grabbed the little parcel from him, carefully unwrapping it and gasping when she saw what it was. "Oh Connor it's beautiful. Thank you so much!" She smiled as she rested it against the counter, running her fingertips along it. She had so many ideas she couldn't wait to fill this up.

Connor nodded his head excitedly, he had really gone above and beyond on the gifts for her birthday but technically this was an engagement gift so it was a little different. He watched as she took the parcel and unwrapped it with such care that a werewolf would never possess. As soon as the album was out her eyes lit up and his heart felt warm because of how happy she was. "It only seemed right to have somewhere to keep all of our plans and memories along the way," he placed his hand on top of hers on the book so that both of their rings were close to each other, "I love you Gabriella, more than you'll ever know and I swear I will always protect you." lifting her hand up he kissed it before smiling once more at her, "now lets get comfy on the sofa and have a look at some weddings things."

But it all fell silent as he spoke and she reached her otherwise hand up to rest in his neck and she gave him a sweet kiss. "I love you too, Connor. And I can't wait to become a diamond." She took his hand and walked into the living room, flopping down.

"We can show our kids how their parents tied the knot," he teased but as they kissed he felt his lips curve into a genuine smile. She seemed to have that affect on him and it was so powerful, "Mrs Gabriella Diamond, it does have a rather elegant ring to it." he teased before taking her hand and heading into the living room with her. He pulled out her iPad so that she could search the internet for wedding stuff, "where do you even begin when it comes to weddings? a venue? and a date I guess."

"I guess settling on a date is the most important thing. How about.. September the 13th? As long as it doesn't land on a Friday." She smiled slightly, pulling up the calendar on her iPad and scrolling through the months. "It's a Saturday, perfect."

It would mean they would be getting married in a handful of months(or a year idk what you want) and he couldn't wait. At this point the sooner the better because he was excited for the future, "okay so we have a date! Now I would like to have it maybe a bit out of this city, and preferably not in a church but if you want to then I would be happy to of course.."

Gabbie shook her head quickly. "Can you imagine all the bad luck we'd get if it was in Friday the 13th? It would be tragic!" She laughed as she began to swipe through all the different searches and things, she had to admit she'd always fantasised about a wedding and already had a few wedding venue ideas in mind but when he said not a church, she couldn't help but be just a little bit disappointed but he understood. At one point in her life Gabbie would have refused to get married if it wasn't in a church but a lot of things had changed for her and now she had her soul mate, they could get married in a sewer for all she cared. "We should do it outside somewhere. Like here.." she loaded the venue up. It was just in the border of the country so it would be s couple of hours drive but the scenery was beautiful and it would be peaceful too. Plus there was an old castle looking hotel where they could stay overnight, too.
