Dymitrius was beginning to come to the end of his tether here, if he had stepped back and let Christian fight these blood suckers himself they would have drank him dry and yet he couldn’t see that, what a selfish prick. He was about one more remark away from turning and walking away from this and letting him be their meal for the day. “I might piss like I dog but I wouldn’t save you if you were in fire.” He stated. He ran at a couple more men but the rest had already fled, realising that the fight wasn’t worth it while D was around, he was an alpha and a strong one at that. He elbowed one of them in the jaw, snapping their head off their neck and twisted his own head round to stare at Christian, growling at him. “You need to learn what respect is.” He told him, walking over to Luna and taking her hand, “follow us. Your mother is waiting for you.” He told him as he began to head back, looking behind now and again to make sure the prick hadn’t done a runner.
Gabbie had no idea what she was doing but it just felt like the right thing and she could feel the pride that was flowing through Connor which spurred her on. Even if it didn’t kill the bastard it had shut him down enough so that her and Connor could take a breath and she swallowed some much needed hair, taking a step back. “No no I’m fine, I didn’t let him get close enough, don’t worry.” She got another twinge in the bottom of her stomach and she closed her eyes tight which coincided quite well with Connor ripping this mans head off so she didn’t have to actually witness it happen. No blood shed, of course, the kills was already dead inside but it still wasn’t a pretty sight. The house had fallen silent and a cool chill was tickling against her skin, “is everyone okay? Safe?” She asked him, her hands shaking as she walked into the kitchen to get a cool glass of water, gripping onto the counter for dear life.
