Welcome to Virtual Popstar's 6th annual Inktober Celebration!
We've prepared some tricky quests and treats for everyone this year!

What is Inktober?
Inktober is an art challenge designed to encourage artists of all levels to draw every day in October. The drawings can be complex, spectral masterpieces or cute little wisps of doodles; it's all up to you! The challenge encourages consistency over perfection.

New this year:
To combine the ET events and include more people, everyone will have the option of doing UP TO TEN of the prompts as styling looks in their (or an open) wardrobe. You are free to do all your entries as drawings. Think of this as a buffer or for those who don't feel they can participate in drawing. 

Please save your looks independently so you don't lose them, and submit as you would a drawing entry with your username written on them. Let us know whose wardrobe you used too!

We still encourage everyone to do some drawings, even if you aren't Picasso!


Rules:
All art must be created BY YOU! NO AI or plagiarism allowed!
Your VP username must be visible in your art (drawings and looks)
Your art must follow the prompt list provided below
Art must be sent in by November 8th @ 00:59 CET [countdown]
(countdown was an hour late, so deadline was extended an hour ;)
Deadline extended until Sunday, November 9th @ 23:59 CET
All art must be sent to @InktoberVP 
(Must include a working link to your artwork, but how you link is up to you! A VP blog, images directly sent in dm's, or a link to a social media or hosting site is acceptable.)

Every day has it's own prize! Prizes will be announced in five-day increments here, so tune in to see all the amazing prizes as they're announced! Everyone who follows the rules and prompts will get the prize; it's participation, not a competition!

"Do I send the drawings to you or do I just post them here or on social media?"
You can post the drawings wherever you would like! We encourage you to share your art here or elsewhere as you feel comfortable, but PLEASE DM THEM TO @InktoberVP so we don't lose anyone's submissions!

"Can I use a pencil or does it have to be inked?"
You are allowed to draw however you'd like, digital or traditional.
Painting, crafts, and mixed media are also allowed if you want to.However if you're in doubt, don't hesitate to ask if your art form is accepted before jumping in head first.

“Are we allowed to use another inktober prompt list?”
We only accept entries where the VP prompt list has been used.We’d love to see your work either ways, but you will only be rewarded for pieces made from our prompt list

"Can we use reference materials?"
Yes, but please include them if used HEAVILY.
And remember, NO DIRECT COPYING OF OTHERS' ART!

"Do we send our entries in all at once or as we go?"
As long as you send entries in by the deadline, they will count. Your VP teams would appreciate not getting all the entries at once at the very end, though!

"Can we do the challenge a second round and claim prizes on an alt/send to a friend?"
Yes, but you must make all new submissions and only after you've completed at least 10 of the challenges already.

"Are we allowed to combine 2 or 3 themes into one drawing?"
Yes, but it must be clear that all the themes are fully represented and that more effort went into the art piece than is expected from daily sketches. No more than 3 themes can be combined at a time and no combination is allowed for dress up entries.

"What if I've sent in my submission and received no response?
Or I have a private question?"
If you have not received a response within a week of sending your drawings in, or if you need additional help and don't feel you can ask here, you are free to contact an open team member.
