Yeah, I employ the same kind of logic, since I would think guilt is one of the most debilitating things to feel. However, with the added statement that I do support it, in the instances where it's clear that the individual will never feel remorse; then there's no point in keeping them alive. On the other hand, suffering because you are being stripped of your freedom by spending your whole life in prison is actually not something I've considered (probably because Swedish prisons are basically hotels compared to prisons in many other countries...), so you might be right that we're better off without the death penalty.i don't really see death as punishment (not to be edgy i love life) so i don't support it
