You can't prevent that anyway because you never know how many people have tried on a piece of clothing in a shop.

I'm not sure I know the difference between thrifting and buying second hand but I'd say probably half my wardrobe is second hand at this point. I literally just bought two "vintage" (90's but okay lol) Hawaiian-ish shirts today and I love them so much. I've bought from that store twice now, 2 shirts every time, 150 shekels for the two which is about 41 euros, not too bad? I think? It's like a stupid boutique type of thing so it's not gonna be charity shop prices, is it? The t-shirts there are absurdly priced though, 120 each ("they are hand selected vintage shirts from the 90's and even the 80's!" fuck off lol) so I didn't buy any but yeah...
Here are the shirts uwu they're so cute lol

The second shirt is so cute!!!!
we need to bring Humana to Israel!!!( I know you have like המציאון) have you been there?
Of course, that's where most of my stuff is from. I used to study in mid Jerusalem where there's a smaller one, I have a jumper and a vest from there. The one in Talpiot, however, that place is like my favourite place in Jerusalem ahhh it's so big and so cool I love it there. I have a ton of shit from there. Most of my second hand shit is winter clothes because summer clothes are ugly and boring but it ends up being the case that I barely have nice clothes for summer but for the month and a half of winter we have I have so many things to wear it's really sad.

Yeah. When people own clothes, they wash them, when they're just trying them on after walking around a shopping center for a while... Stinky.

Oh and I bought this pair of pants that's made out of linen and silk, so comfy but no idea how to style it.

Is it white? when I hear linen I think white but white pants are ugly and gross.

I like used clothes because you can see how they wear out when worn and washed
easier to spot good quality
when buying new you never know it’s gonna look after a few washes
