Hello everyone! SMT has started its new journey
by allowing you users to vote during WWIB.

We want to hear what you think about being allowed to vote
publicly or if you are also allowed to vote secretly (without knowing who made the outfit)
during the holidays such as Christmas, Halloween, etc. during the WWIB voting,
because then our idea is that the 5 who gets the most votes from you users gets 100cr each during these holidays (cr price will only happen on holidays such as Christmas, Halloween, etc.).

1: So do you want to vote publicly where you write who you vote for
in WWIB threads and why you vote for that person or
do you want to vote secretly where you vote for just
the outfit without knowing who made it?

2: Do you want to vote in a separate survey during that round
or do you want us to publish the outfits in a thread (if you choose to have hidden votes)?

Okay. We will check for side accounts and everyone will have to write names if it happens via survey, but otherwise you can see the names and so on.

tbh i don't think ppl will want to vote publicly (as in revealing *their* identity besides to the team, regardless whether the names of the people they vote for are public) especially if they have to name the person they're voting AND give a reason why. we have a lot of peeps who don't feel like posting in the forums in the first place and thus you could be scaring off potential voters.

i think the survey format could work best in that regard, however you will need to improve from the last vote - the biggest issue i had with it was that you required a fixed number of entries one had to vote for. easiest fix for that is to remove the required amount and instead let people vote for as many or as few they want. then in case of ties the team could make a separate internal vote for it - or if y'all want to make the process a little more difficult for yourselves then hold the separate vote externally as well.

or if you wanna go completely wild, give people multiple options on how to vote which might mean you need to keep track on a lot of things (more work), but in return you'd maximize the amount of voters. no matter what always require the voter to include their username to make it easier to catch alts or double votes.

as a foot note i still think you should keep the vote internal (at least for now) so as not to overwhelm yourselves - not to mention the fact your workload must be increasing with the addition of tiktok - but that's just my hunch speaking.
