Cassia sighed as she laid in bed. All she wanted was to have mason back and to have him cuddle her and tell her that he loved her. She didn't know why he left her but it hurt. She was head over heels for him but he obviously doesn't feel the same about her. They just argue all the time now and she didn't like it, she just wanted to e fine with him again. She wanted to move on but she couldn't, she just kept comparing the guys she would get with to mason. She looked down at her wrists and sighed, she had started cutting again. Mason ha helped her a lot and she had stopped cutting but now she started again. Biting her lip she got out of bed and walked into the kitchen and sat down. She glanced over at mason "Morning." She said, trying to hide her wrists.

Mason watched Cassia carefully as she walked by, holding arms behind her back. She was obviously hiding something, but what? Did she have a surprise for him? He smiles bitterly to himself until he spotted what she was really hiding, the lines becoming more and more apparent to him. "Cass..." he spoke her name softly, willing her to talk to him. He knew he had upset her, but...not that much. Venus and Jace occupied the kitchen, the poor sap watching as she blatantly ignored the obvious. And Mason just watched as Cassia completely ignored him, went about her normal chores for the morning. "Cassia, I want to talk to you." he said to her, a bit more firm than before.

Jace sighed as he sat down, sipping on his cup of coffee. He looked over at venus, shocked that she had actually spoken to him ''Yep.'' he said. He didn't know what to say to her anymore. They use to be sort of alright friends but now it was just hard to talk to her. Especially since she always rubbed it in his face that she was with someone else. He sighed a little ''What's your plans for today?'' he asked, hoping they could get on for at least a little bit, It would make things a lot easier.

Mason let out an aggravated groan, and he had every intention to sit on the couch and forget about it. "You know what I can't do anymore? I can't deal with your constant nagging me about something I already regret!" he yelled out after her before she left, and when she did, he sunk in his seat, burying his face in his hands. After about five minutes of just seething at her and himself, he suddenly realized, what in the actual HELL was he doing? There was a troubled girl out running off to god knows where, who was quite gorgeous and he still really cared about? She just...didn't get it sometimes. It brook his heart whenever she got upset, and even more when he saw her wrists earlier. He pulled on a shirt, shoes, and a pair of jeans as he ran out of the apartment faster than he thought possible, running down the walk in a desperate search. Where the hell could she be? He finally stumbled across a park, saw her familiar figure sitting on a swing. He jogged up behind her, panting and out of breath. "Cass...Christ...what were you THINKING? You could have gone and gotten hurt."

He obviously means more to you than I ever will.'' he said sighing as he looked down. He just wanted to be with her. He and tried hard to forget about her but he compared her to other girls all the time and girls never matched up to her. He ran a hand through his hair as he looked at her. She was beautiful. ''How about we do something tomorrow?'' he asks softly, biting his lip as he leans back in his chair.

He was tired of running and pushing her away, tired of the constant arguing. "Please don't. I think you deserve a better explanation of why I...why I left you."

Mason was horrified, to say the least, with himself. How could he cause so much pain to a person and not even care. He never realized just how much he could have meant to Cassia, and now, right in front of his face, she was bawling in hysteria and falling apart quicker than he thought possible. He nodded and pulled her close to him, just held her there nice and close until her breathing evened out. He needed her to be calm when he told her the whole story. "Are you breathing?" he asked as he sat her down on a bench. He held her hand in his and was silent for a second before starting. "Cassia, I didn't leave you because I didn't love you. I loved you more than anything, and honestly, I still do. But I didn't feel good enough. I felt like you deserved better than me, and that you could get better than me. I hadn't been able to focus on you as much as I wanted to, because of a lot of things happening with my parents. They, uh, got divorced. So I got really distracted, and I felt I hadn't been able to give you the attention you deserved. So I figured it would be best for you to either have all of me or none of me, if I couldn't take responsibility in being in a relationship, but..." He watched as she listened, intent. God, she was beautiful. "I never meant for it to go this far, and I'm so, so sorry." he finished.

Jace looked at her sides, anger growing inside of him as he clenched his fists in anger. He couldn't believe that someone had hurt her. He knelt down and kissed each bruse gently. "I'm sorry Venus. You don't deserve this. Where is he? I will sort this out and make sure that he stays the fuck away from you." He said and got up, putting his shoes on and headed towards the door.
