alright, colin the douche shall know
-
Riley's legs slowly crossed themselves as she scanned the paper. She knew from the familiar sloppy handwriting who it was before she told her after all, she had seen it quite a lot on the palms and edges of notebook paper of various girls in school. But she'd never expected Colin to go for Sommy. Not because she wasn't pretty; it was quite the opposite really. To be fair, Sommy was gorgeous and she was book smart and if she continued in the direction that she was going, she would make it in life. It was because of those reasons that she thought Colin would stay away from her, she was too much of a challenge. Everything about this made Riley feel uneasy. Usually she could care less if Colin was with another girl but because it was Sommy it was different. She was sweet and Riley didn't want to see that destroyed because of Colin. Yet, seeing how excited she was caused her to bite her tongue on the matter. "You at a party? I never thought I'd see the day. But with Colin, just be careful yeah?"

Colin spun the ball around on his finger, stopping to toss it back and forth between his hands. "I don't need luck Rudy. I'm Colin. One look and she'll be at my feet." He began to grin, signalling that he was only joking. While he wasn't a complete sleaze, he knew some girls took a longer time to come around. For example, the head's daughter who'd given in after a month. "I think all of that is a facade, you'll find in life that the ones with their noses in the books are the best in the sack." He shook his head, not even faltered by the disrespectful things he said from time to time. He pushed the ball into Rudy's stomach as his eyes wandered to a girl who walked hand in hand with her boyfriend. He gave a quick whistle which led to him chuckling at the boyfriend's reaction. "What about you then? Riley's not going to be available forever. I have a list of girls if you'd like." He suggested, his eyebrow lifted in seriousness.

Sommy tilted her head a little, her eyebrows raising slightly as she reached up to take the paper off her. She was never confrontational and this caused her to bite her tongue and not even answer. She knew what Colin could be like and she wasn't stupid. It was just nice to be charmed for once, it wasn't usual for her like it was with Riley. It was Sommy being defensive without even realizing, as she shrugged her shoulders. "When am I ever not careful?" It had a hint of spite in it, directed more towards herself considering how little she'd experienced in life because of her work. She glanced down at the books and frowned, before sticking them into her bag. Right there and then she decided she was going to have fun, no matter what the consequences. She glanced up at her, her eyebrow raising a little. "Who are you to talk anyway, you're the one that dated him."

Rudy just smirked at him as he spoke, trying not to laugh at him. That was just music to Colin's ears. He nodded his head slowly as if agreeing, when in reality he was dying to roll his eyes and push him over. He felt the ball push into his stomach and he looked down, taking it between his two hands. When Colin whistled, Rudy didn't even respond. Didn't even look in the couples direction since it would be embarrassing for them as it is. He glanced at him and shrugged his shoulders, before taking on the posture of Colin, tall and cocky. "Riley might not always be available, but she'll always be up for a shag, no matter who she's with." He smirked and rolled his eyes, his posture going back to his own as his shoulders dropped and he became more relaxed. "I don't need a list of your leftovers, ok? I'm fine."

Riley tried to think of a time that she wasn't careful and she couldn't quite come up with one that had happened in recent years. There weren't any because Sommy was as careful as they came. She shrugged her shoulders as she watched her collect her things into her bag, a sign of her leaving. "I'm not saying that you're not careful. It's Colin, and we all know him. He's slept with almost every girl in town so what else do you think he's intending to do with you?" Until it was out did she realize how Sommy could take offence to that, but she hadn't meant it rudely. Anyone would be crazy not to go after her yet Riley knew that Colin was only after one thing. She began to massage the area between her eyes before dropping her fingers when she brought up the past. "You're right. But the moment I realized what kind of guy he was, I ended things."

Colin's eyes followed the girl as they couple continued to walk, his eyes not straying until she was well out of his sight. He returned his eyes to Rudy just in time to catch his slight cocky stance, causing him to smirk at him. "Of course you don't need my list, you have my number three on yours. I guess Riley's a great shag but having the same meal every night isn't fun. Every now and again you'll want soup or salad or bread." He shrugged his shoulders as they headed in the direction of Rudy's house, yet nowhere specifically. His philosophy made sense to him and that's why he never did quite well with relationships. He could enjoy being with a girl but it always came down to him becoming bored. He enjoyed variety.

Sommy stood up, the bag now on her shoulder. "Fine, I won't sleep with him. You happy?" She glanced sideways to see an old couple there, both with their eyes wide at the conversation. She pursed her lips, wanting to apologize to them but she wasn't exactly sure why. She pushed her laptop into a second bag that she carried in her hand. She glanced at Riley and her brow furrowed a little. "I'm sorry." She shook her head a little and reached up to touch her hair, brushing her fingers a little down her fringe. She headed for the door, pausing at it briefly to wait for her to come with. "I think I'm just caught up in the fact that a boy asked me out. I don't like someone bringing me back down to earth." She forced a smile and pushed at the door to go outside. Although she knew she was right, a small part of her was still saying that Riley was just jealous. Colin was cute and he had been with her before, so why wouldn't she?

"But they aren't salad, or soup, or bread. They're girls." He was still smiling, although he always was with Colin. It was impossible not to be amused by every ridiculous thing that came out the boys mouth. How he ever managed to get a shag was completely beyond Rudy, because he was just so dumb. Rudy did understand his point, though, and in a way it was true. But what if you were just happy with the same meal every night? But with different seasoning maybe? He grimaced at this thought, glad that Colin couldn't hear it because it was so reminiscent of him. Truth be told, Rudy was glad to just be sleeping with Riley. She was easy, accessible, great at it and her body was great too. One of the best he'd ever seen. And she was pretty lovely to look at, lovely to talk to. Using a food phrase like Colin, Rudy would only have to say 'why go for hamburgers when you've got steak at home?' Again, this thought made him grimace. He'd have to find a new mate soon because it was getting silly.

Riley glanced over at the old couple who sat wide-eyed as they stared at the both of them. "It's sex and I'm sure the two of you have had massive loads of it." She stifled a giggle when the old woman started to blush. She felt a bit better when Sommy began to smile, even if it was forced it assured her that she hadn't taken her statement roughly but yet with a grain of salt. After standing up, she nodded towards the couple before following Sommy out of the cafe. "Well, if you are going to come to the party then we should find something for you to wear." As the two crossed the street, Riley led Sommy into the area of where the shops frequented. It would be her first party and to celebrate the occasion she would need something new to wear. "So what are you going to tell your parents? It's Saturday and I'm sure most excuses won't hold." Sommy's parents were the types who could be a host family on the show for BBC. It was surprising that they'd allowed her to remain friends with her after all of this time. This was considering their differences in grades.

Colin rolled his eyes after Rudy had put down his analogy. Unknown to him was the things that were circulating in Rudy's head for if they were he would probably nod his head, his face seeping with smugness. As they got to the corner of Rudy's he glanced over at him, the football resting in his hands. "Any spliff at yours? My stash is surprisingly low." He raked his fingers through his hair as he took the ball and gave it a go between his feet. Once they'd reached the house, Colin marched to the back where the shed was. If asked to provide a symbol of their friendship, Colin would probably offer the shed as one. They'd done everything in their together from girls to drinking to smoking. If they ever ended their friendship, Colin would probably declare rights over it.

Sommy grimaced at the idea of clothes shopping. Knowing Riley, it would be short tight dresses with sky high heels. Nothing like Sommy's usual attire. Then again, Sommy felt like mixing it up a little. She heard Riley mention her parents and she shrugged her shoulders a little. "To be honest, I haven't thought that far ahead. I'm sure they'll let me out, I mean, it's one night and... it's the first time. I'll have to get ready at yours though, obviously." She smirked a little, as she followed Riley into one of the shops. She held back, hesitantly, unsure of what to actually go for. She looked at Riley, raised her eyebrows and nudged her head like 'you-go-first'.

Rudy raised an eyebrow, allowing a long pause. "What sort of question is that, of course there is." Rudy let Colin lead into the garden, despite it being his house. His parents were never home and the shed had long been his domain so no one came inside. Lucky that was the case considering the drugs, the porn, the alcohol and the girls that were hidden away inside. He followed him into the shed and shut the door, taking a seat in a big plush armchair that he'd stolen from his living room. He cocked his feet up on the table at the centre, that had cans littered across it and a half smoked joint stubbed out in the ash tray. He rested his head back against it, before looking over at Colin. "So, what exactly is the plan for Sommy?"

Riley was busily making slight adjustments to Sommy's outfit. She was pleased when Sommy had offered to let her dress her rather than picking an outfit out herself. Their tastes were completely different and it was amusing to see Sommy dressed in an outfit similar to Riley's tastes. They'd had to compromise on the amount of skin Sommy would allow to show as well as the height of the heels, but in the end it all seemed to come together. Although Riley had dressed Sommy up, she went for a calmer look for the night. All the partying was taking a toll on her wardrobe and she decided to go for a simpler look for the night. Leaving Sommy alone, she turned to the mirror to fix her hair, allowing it to fall forward rather than pushed back. "I'll drive, it's supposed to be a little way away."

Colin sat on the floor, finishing his pre-party menu. His mind growing foggier as the length of the spliff decreased. His eyes were starting to grow red as well and he figured it would be best to quit and leave some for later. Putting out the spliff, he stuck it in one of the edges of Rudy's magazines. The numbness from sitting for too long caused his legs to feel weird and he stood up to shake them out. Colin would never miss a party. Even if he broke his leg, you could guarantee that he would be sitting on the sofa with his foot propped on the coffee table, talking to someone. That's why he'd decided that Rudy would be the designated driver. "Come on you fuck, the porn can wait for you Riley tonight." He chuckled before turning the sports game off and leaving the shed.

that actually just made me laugh 'cmon you fuck'
~~

Sommy just stood there as Riley adjusted it, the whole time just staring in the mirror blankly. It was the complete opposite to how she usually dressed and that was after Riley offered to turn it down a notch. Just as she predicted, it was a tight black dress but what had originally been just under her bum, the length now sat at just above the knee, with a pair of red suede heels and her lips a crimson colour to match. She reached up to fiddle with her fringe. She couldn't deny she was pretty nervous and felt pretty silly. She looked across at Riley, pursed her lips and briskly nodded. "Right, let's go." She dropped her hands to her sides and balled her hands into tiny fists, before inhaling deeply. She took off down the stairs and past Riley's mom and dad, who didn't really care about the girls's appearance but she could still imagine the looks of disappointment. That was probably because of her own mom and dad, who never even allow the dress she was wearing now. To get around them, she had told them she was sleeping at Riley's and that shouldn't she be allowed at least one night off?! Once outside, she climbed right into the car.

Rudy blinked slowly as Colin suddenly shot up, ready to go. He reached up to drag his hand heavily down his face and he shook his head quickly, as if to shake off the symptoms of too much weed. He got up, grabbed the car keys off the table and dropped them into his pocket. He looked around the room, to make sure there was nothing left before walking out. He made sure the door was firmly pulled tight behind him before following Colin to the front of the house. He wasn't really sure what to expect from the night but as of right now he was feeling pretty fine. More than fine, he was as chill as ever and Rudy was already a relaxed guy. He unlocked the car and put the key into the ignition before suddenly letting out a childish laugh. "You know... I probably shouldn't be driving." Without even a second thought, he started it and began to drive, pretty relieved that the roads were relatively empty.

i try, i try lol

Riley climbed into the driver's seat but her chair felt out of place. She cursed her sister before arranging the settings which took nearly three minutes. She started up the car and began to drive, her eyes on the road as her fingers popped in some CD. Stopping at a red light, she quickly glanced out of the corner of her eyes to Sommy who sat with her hands still balled into fists, the nervousness radiating off of her body. It was cute and Riley couldn't help the small smile that started to form. "Don't worry Sommy, you look gorgeous. I may just be driving back on my own tonight." Her eyes found their ways back to the road once the light signalled for them to continue.

Colin didn't bother to slide on his seat belt despite the way that Rudy was driving and with the position he was currently sitting in, he knew that if they did get into a wreck he was pretty much fucked. "If we get stopped, you tell them you're going blind and you're on your way to your mother who is going into labour." It'd worked for him once, but then again the cop had been female and he was pretty sure she let him off easy because of his charm and easy lie. Turning on his cell, he sent a quick text to some girl. If Sommy shook him off tonight then he would need someone else to fall back on. Looking away from his phone, he scowled once they'd nearly hit a car that turned the corner. Of course it had been their fault but he leaned over and beeped the horn for Rudy. "Learn to drive you pussy!" He yelled at the car, receiving the finger back.

Sommy's mind was racing with all sorts of outcomes for the night. What if he never even shows up and it was some elaborate joke to get her stood up? Her brow had furrowed and her hands remained in their tights fists. When she heard Riley, she glanced up and then rolled her eyes, before laughing. "Don't be ridiculous." She forced her hands out of their firsts, running them across her thighs. She pulled down the mirror above her head to check her reflection, patting her lips together. She'd never been one for a colour like red and yet it was her colour, the colour that suited her best. She groaned and snapped the mirror back up. "Honestly, i look like an 8 year old playing dress up with mommy." She wouldn't feel so bad if she wasn't sat beside Riley, who said she hadn't even bothered and yet her outfit and style appeared to have taken hours to master.

Rudy nodded, his lips pulling up into a smirk. "I'll just let you do the talking, okay? We shouldn't get pulled over though. If I'm correct, I'm at 30 and doing all the right signa--FUCK!" He slammed on the brake as a car pulled around the corner. He was supposed to be giving way but Rudy could hardly see Colin, let alone a signal on the road. He watched as Colin leaned over to shout at him and Rudy just burst out laughing, sitting there despite being in the middle of the road with cars behind him. He shook his head slowly, completely forgetting where he was for a moment. That was before a 50 year old man in the car behind them called them wankers and beeped the horn twice as loud as they did. Rudy's lips pulled down into a grimace as he pulled off again, sticking his finger out the window to him. "Man, old people are so touchy."

Riley shook her head slowly before rolling her eyes, merging into another lane. It was a ridiculous statement; if she wanted to she could probably pull any guy out there. Riley hoped that Sommy would find someone at the party other than Colin. Honestly there probably weren't a lot of guys better looking that Colin however there certainly were ones who would treat Sommy better than he possibly could. "You look fine, don't be a twat. Everyone will either be beating up one another or drooling over you." A weird feeling whirled in Riley's stomach and for a moment she felt sick, sick enough to puke. Swallowing hard, she tried to recall the last time she'd smoked. Her body was probably aching for the familiar feeling of the smoke whirling in her lungs. Pulling up to the curb, she raised her eyebrows at the rather large house. "This is the address yeah?"

Colin was turned in his seat, watching the furious old man yelling expletives at them. He chuckled as he positioned himself correctly in the seat. "I agree, but his wife is definitely a milf. She's an 8." His eyes focused on the older woman in the rear view mirror who seemed annoyed with both the boys as well as her husband. His fingers tapped an old Motorhead song before he looked over at Rudy. Off of the top of his head, one thing that he enjoyed about Rudy was that he was chill. He was just one of the few people who knew how to deal with Colin, and he appreciated that. "I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes. It was mostly filled with shags. Yours? Was it mostly filled with wanking?" He pulled another serious expression as he waited for an answer.

Sommy leaned across Riley a little to look up at the house. She could see a few people moving around by the windows, with what appeared to be cups in their hands. She shrugged her shoulders and looked up at Riley. "I assume so..." The corners of her lips dragged down, as she contemplated whether or not to go in. She knew she had to considering they'd drove there, though. She got out the car, smoothed down the dress and her hair before walking with Riley up to the door. She held her hand up to knock but glanced at Riley before she did. "Wait, do I knock or just go in?" You could seriously tell this was her first party, as the door got opened on it's own by a topless jock with face paint, screaming something about an awesome party. She glanced at her watch, her hand still poised to knock on the door. "And it isn't even 9 o'clock."

Rudy glanced up at the rear view mirror to catch a peek but he quickly diverted his eyes forward again. He'd gotten lucky once but he knew it wasn't going to last long. He laughed quietly at Riley, shaking his head solemnly. "Sad... but true. Wanking, joints, a few shags with Riley and then more wanking." He shrugged his shoulders and glanced back at Colin. "Not bad if I say so myself." He smirked and then pulled up outside the house, directly behind Riley's car. They were already at the door and Rudy looked through the window at them, before letting out a long slow whistle. "This party might not be so bad after all.."

Riley frowned, knowing that it was now time to go through the standard party procedure of greeting everyone. It wasn't long before people made their way over to greet her, offering her hugs. With a slight darting of her eyes the attention was soon redirected to Sommy who was now the one receiving compliments on her hair and dress. Yet even with all of the attention, Sommy still seemed slightly out of her element. "I'll get you drink." Riley called over the loud music, making sure to go before she could protest to having any alcohol. Skipping a few people, she went into the kitchen to make up some mix. Grabbing a red cup, she quickly made a drink, being careful not to pour too much alcohol. She wanted a relaxed Sommy not a sloppy one.

Colin's eyes took in every inch of Sommy, his lower lip drawing in to be bitten. Her change in appearance was probably due to Riley and it was because of that that he'd limit the amount of jokes he sent her way for the night. He opened the door of the car and led the way to the door. Once in the house, he lost Sommy which made him frown. No worries. "The king has arrived!" He announced, earning a few groans and laughs from the crowd. Sommy had disappeared however his roving eye had not, and he spotted a pretty little red head stood against the wall.
Private

Sommy felt sort of stunned to go from the girl in the shadows to the girl everyone was looking at. It made her feel incredibly self conscious, even more so when Riley left to get drinks. It was the main reason she moved through the crowd to the edge of the wall, causing Colin to lose sight of her. She pressed her palms against the wall, feeling the coolness of it against her now sweaty hands. She wished for Riley, as her eyes darted around at the unfamiliar faces. Suddenly, one sprung out the crowd and it wasn't Riley. It was Colin, only a few meters away chatting up a pretty red head. She suddenly felt incredibly silly, as her eyes fell down to her dress. How silly she looked too.

Rudy followed Colin in, watching as he skipped off to a girl stood against the wall. It didn't surprise or bother him. He'd held on for five seconds longer than usual and for that Rudy was proud. He made his way through the crowd to the kitchen. There'd been a few parties where alcohol had been hidden to make people bring there own but that just caused Rudy and Colin to break into their parents liquor cabinet, so for their sake Rudy hoped there'd be alcohol waiting. He was pleasantly surprised to see Riley already there, mixing a drink. He moved his arm across her shoulder, looking across at the mix. "For me? You shouldn't have!"

Riley finished the mix and looked down into the cup to make sure it was perfect. When Rudy's arm slipped around her shoulders she looked up at him, the edge of her lips turning up into a smirk. "That's good because I didn't. This is for Sommy." She told him as she went about making another for herself. She'd only had two of Rudy's mixes before and they both tasted awful and thus she'd written him off as a shit mixer. "You can have some if you'd like, some not all." She shook his arm off of her before leaving him one of the cups and heading off into the living room for Sommy, spotting her against the wall. If Rudy was here that meant Colin was as well, and she looked around until she saw him with a red head. It didn't matter to her what they were talking about but she walked over to Colin and whispered something in his ear before handing him the drink before watching him walk off. She was left with the red head who glared angrily back at her. "Trust me it was for the better. He has chlamydia." There the first seed of gossip planted for the day.

Colin frowned when he was interrupted by Riley who threatened to rip him to shreds if he left Sommy alone. Not caring to say goodbye to the red head, he walked off in the direction of Sommy. Her eyes were fallen and she looked as if she was passing judgement on herself. He couldn't quite comprehend why she would feel the need to. She was pretty and even the unattractive girls were here throwing themselves everywhere. Standing next to her, he leaned against the wall before extending his hand for her to take the drink. His plan was to ease up on the way that he spoke to her. In order to set the plan into motion he would have to season it first. "You look beautiful." He complimented, a wide smile falling onto him. "I didn't know you drink."
