Tapping his fingers on the back of his phone, he hesitated in his steps before he got a reply, and his stride became more confident and he headed up to her floor and knocked on the door twice before stepping in, his hand she in his pockets. "It's just me." He should, not wanting to startle her. His smile widening as Elizabeth emerged from the bathroom, his eyes gazing over her her outfit, langing oartivularly on the bare skin between her dress and boots. God damnit, why was he so easily led astray. "You look good." He commented.

Maia was walking very carefully out of the school grounds, not 100% of the direction she was supposed to be headed in. Her heels not being the best of companions at that point and failing her just a little. Turning her head when she heard that familiar voice, a small smile spread on her lips seeing Nathan. "Well, thank you.. but I know. You scrub up well too." She added, twitching her toes a little to keep the blood flowing. "That sounds like a good idea, because I don't actually know where I'm supposed to be going and well I'm just praying my fake ID will work. I'm not quite 18 yet."

Nathan glanced down at her heels and couldn't help but laugh lightly, "how you can walk in those I will never know, it's honestly a talent." he said with a smile on his lips as he headed right of the school and walked slower than normal so that she didn't need to run to keep up with him. "Well I think you will pass the test without your ID, if I'm honest, if I were the security guard I wouldn't question it at all." Within five minutes they were outside of the club and they managed to get passed security fine, the guard too busy checking out Maia to take in her ID. Once inside the interior was dark and lush, and it was evidently clear that the venue had been bought out just for this party. "damn.." he whispered quietly as they made their way into the space.

Maia shrugged her shoulders. "I mean once your feet go numb from the pain it's all easy from there." Her innocent smile turned into a cheeky grin as they got through the door with ease, sliding her ID that she hadn't even needed back into her purse, she headed to the bar, ordering a vodka and Coke, letting her eyes scan the venue, her mouth turning into a small 'o' shape. "Well this is very swish, I'm impressed." Turning her head back to Nathan, she ran her fingertip across his hand. "So.. didnyou manage to speak to drake at all?"

Nathan pressed his back agains the bar while she ordered herself a drink and he gazed around the club, it was already filling up and they had only been inside for five minutes. His eyes lingered on Elizabeth as she came in, knowing full well that her and Drake had been an on and off item for some time now. He noted the stranger by her side and decided that perhaps Maia would indeed be safe to pursue her interest tonight. Turning his attention back to her he smiled widely, " why, now that you mention it I think I recall having a rather interesting discussion with Mr Ramone and as it turns out he's had his eye on you and would love to have a drink and a dance with you this evening."

Groaning slightly st the mention of shots, Elijah rubbed his stomach, leaning against the bar. "I knew I should have eaten before I came outtonight, you're gonna destroy my body." Picking up his shot glass when it had been poured, he turned his face to her. "One, two, three'll. drink!" He cheered, before letting the liquid roll down his neck.

Maia handed some money over to the barman, sliding a beer Nathan's way, she placed a straw in her own glass, using it to mix the two ingredients together before taking a large slurp, turning sonthat she was facing the same was as he was. Her eyes widening and her smile growing, even letting a small squeal escape from her mouth. "Oh my god you must be kidding right? He actually wants to have a drink with me? You're the best Nathan!" She wrapped her hand around his fingers and gave them a squeeze. "Oka okay, so when d you think I should make my move?"

Nathan nodded his thanks to Maia for the drink, feeling a little embarrassed at himself for not even being able to get his own drink. But seeing her eyes light up at the mention of how Drake was so interested in talking to her made him smile. "I say play it cool, have a few drinks to take the excitement nerves away, don't want to start squealing mid sentence with him." he chuckled, before nodding too one of the booths nearby, "why don't we take a seat for a bit?" he suggested as he picked up the pint and took a sip.

"Clearing his throat and looking back into her eyes, Elijah nodded once. "Dancing sounds wonderful. Lead the way." He took her hand and followed her along, not entirely sure why he was agreeing to this.

Maia bit down on her lip gently and nodded, taking another sip of her drink she inhaled deeply through her nose. "Okay okay I get it I need to calm down. I've just never had such a cool guy actually fancy me back before. It's a good feeling. I mean you can't blame him though." Shrugging, she looked up at Nathan, lifting herself up from she she was leaning on the bake she pulled her dress back up over her chest slightly and followed him over to a booth. Sitting down and crossing her legs over, ensuring not to flash anyone. "This is a nice place. Kind of like my favourite place I used to drink at back at home."

"So you've been sneaking in to bars for a while now huh?" he said raising a brow slightly, "must admit though it is incredible here, I feel too poor to even be here."

Drake moved away from the swarm of girls he had around him, going towards Elizabeth before pausing when he saw Elijah and growled slightly at him, turning away and spotting Nathan and Maia, the girl he had been told so much about earlier that day. He strolled over to the booth they were at, "Hey, Maia right?" he said with a small smirk on his lips before looking over at Nathan and nodding his head lightly at him.

Turning when she heard her name, her eyes brightened, spotting drake. Oh dear god, he was even hotter close up. As long as he didn't ask her to stand up they'd be fine, as she was damn sure her legs had turned into jelly. "H.. hey, yeah that's right, and of course I know your name already. Drake." She let her hand rest in the top of his arm.

He stood alone for a few moments before Elizabeth and Elijah came waltzing over, he wondered over to them, "hey, I've never seen you before, new to school?" he said, raising an eyebrow at Elijah.

Drake took Maia's hand and kissed it softly before sliding himself into the seat that Nathan had previously occupied, "I'm glad I could finally make your acquaintance, I've seen you dotted around the school but you were always so busy." he said with a smile, taking a sip from his drink before resting back against the seat. His eyes dancing over her bare skin for a moment, which could have easily been mistaken for him checking her out, that was how he got away with it. "so Nathan tells me you are rather new here, are you enjoying it so far?"

"Yeah, I've kind of been in a world of my own since I arrived here. Trying tonjust settle in. I got my room broken into earlier though so that was great, but whatever." She mumbled on, though she couldn't help watch as his eyes took all of her in. Her cheeks turning a rather flamboyant flamingo colour of pink. "Apart from that I'm enjoying it. I've been meaning to talk to you for a little while now, too. You seem like a cool guy."

"Oh he is perfectly safe in my company Effy" he said waving his hand a little and laughing before turning his head back to Elijah, "here's me thinking she was here with you, looks like both our 'dates' have other interests" he chuckled, sipping his bear.

"It must be hard for you, adjusting to being surrounded by all of .. us." Drake said, "as I understand it usually humans go to separate schools, though I must say I'm glad you are here." His eyes met hers again as he took another sip from his glass, "someone broke in? I do hope they didn't take anything valuable. If that ever happens again you let me know and I'll take care of it." he said, reaching his hand out to touch hers. "well I am flattered! to have someone as beautiful as yourself interested in me is an honour."

Her eyes averting down to his hand on hers, her heart beginning to beat a little faster. "Oh don't worry, he's promised me he's going to fix it for free so I'll get it sorted." Finishing off her drink, Maia wiped the corners of her mouth with her thumb. "Fancy another? My treat." She stood up, picking out some money from her purse, swaying her hips to the bar.

Nathan finished off the beer and placed it down onto the bar, "ahh.. I see. " he nodded his head a little bit, not realising it was in time with the music, "you are going to have your work cut out for you mate, she may seem pretty easy to handle but just you wait." he chuckled, shaking his head and leaning onto the bar slightly, "it must be hard having to be someones protector when they are that hot." he paused, and put his hands up, "don't worry, I'm not into her... so no need to chop my hands off" he joked.

"well look at you, that is impressive. Being able to defend yourself is really important in this world, especially with all of the madness that is on the news." Drake stood up and pushed her purse away, "all drinks are on me tonight princess. I want to treat you the way you deserve to be treated." he walked up to the bar with her and ordered two vodka and cokes, one for her and one for him, "it was vodka and coke you were drinking, yes? I have a nose for scents you see." he chuckled, handing her her fresh glass and passing the bartender money.

Maia stopped in her racks, looking up at him, she quickly shoved her money back in her purse. "Okay, seeing as you're putting it that way I won't say no. Thank your drake." She winked at him before taking her fresh glass and sashaying back to their booth, sitting cross legged again, turning so that her torso was leaning more into him. "We should have a dance after this, show me some of your best moves." She slurped her drink through the straw, winding slightly at the intensity. "Jeez that's a strong one."
