You've been working as a barista at a local coffee shop for two years while you've been attending college a few hours away from home. One day, your boss comes in and announces to you and your coworkers that even though business has been booming and your skills have made you all "espresso extraordinaires", the big-wigs have asked you all to take a 50% pay cut. This is devastating to you because you're barely able to afford rent as is, but you love your job so much you'd never even think about leaving. While you scramble around to find another place to live, your coworkers leave one-by-one until it's just you and and another girl that you've recently become friends with. A few days go by before it dawns on her to ask you the question you've been waiting for. She lives together with her older brother in a three-bedroom apartment, and with her pay cut and her brother's unwillingness to work they aren't able to keep up on rent. She asks if you'd like to move in, which would make them be able to keep the apartment, but there's only one condition. You're not allowed to look at, think about, or even breathe in the same room as her brother. He's got a reputation for breaking girls' hearts and she doesn't want you to to get hurt by his charm. A few months pass and your friend moves out as she's graduating college and moving to another job across the country, while you're still stuck with the brother until you graduate the next year. How will you two work together to keep making rent payments for the deluxe apartment? Will you be brought down by the man you're supposed to shy away from, even though he's now got a deal working as a top-notch model for a well-known designer?

Other: Fawn is known for always toting around a sketch book and a box of colored pencils. Any chance that she gets she's drawing away, anything from fashion and beauty ideas to landscapes and replications of her favorite photographs. She also enjoys spending her time writing and working on the computer as she aims to complete a degree in journalism and graphic design. Her dream job would be to work for a magazine editor, coming up with new ideas to display her creativity. / Maddox, in his own words, is "tough as nails". He's been through a lot with girls in the past few years, after one breakup left him completely devastated with so much as a duffel bag of his possessions. This is partly why he isn't a fan of developing relationships with the girls and would much rather use them than keep them around. He enjoys studying architecture in his spare time and would like to go into the field when (more like if) his looks ever fail him.

Carly sighed as she walked back into the apartment. Her best friend had just left to move across the country for her new job and now carly was on her own with her best friends brother. When she first moved in her best friend had told her to stay away from her brother because he had a tendency to break girls hearts. She walked into the kitchen and decided to make some breakfast for herself and Elliot, they might as well get to know each other a bit more since they were going to be living together.

 

Ben sighed as he watched his sister drive off. He was left with her best friend now. He smirked, he was hot and his sister wasn't here to tell him no so he was going to try flirting with Rosalie. He walked into the apartment and sat down, turning on the tv.
