Lol yeah, I have mostly only designed for myself, even in dt, while making male designs too, I don't make something I don't like myself (except rare occasions in the past)

i odnt think site activity is effected by paid staff.

we literally have a site we can compare VP to right now thats wildly active without paying anyone. clearly paying people is not a requirement for a more active site.
