Hi,
The idea was inspired by @Chlorine in our RL.
Would it be possible to update the forums a bit to be more user friendly?
It's hard to differentiate between the topics. (Eg. In the competitions forum section, it's hard to tell which one is an official event and which one is hosted by a regular user. I know teams add "ET", "SMT" in their titles, but they don't really pop... or the Clothing forum, having something different for buying and selling topics would be nice.)
Idea #1: Text formatting.
Bold, italic, font colors to be allowed to be used in the forum titles.
Probably some colors would be restricted for teams only.
In this way a system could be set up, so we'd know what color belongs to which team and what colors are supposed to be used for buying and selling topics, etc.... very basic, but better than nothing.
Con: all the different colors would make the aesthetics of the forum less appealing.
Idea #2: Topic icons.
Most forums have them and they make it easier to differentiate between the forums. There could be some icons specifically for team-use only (their team icons eg.) and some for regular users. So we'd have like 5-10 icons set to choose from (eg. question mark for questions, trophy for events, sheet for discussion topics, etc.)
Note: you could start a topic without an icon, it would not be a must to use one.
