My name is Emmie and I’m a 21-year-old from a small town in Sweden. Most people use she/her pronouns when referring to me, but I’m fine with any pronouns. I have studied theatre for a couple of years, which was so fun and helped me grow more as a person, but now I'm more on the path to become a librarian. Some of my biggest interests are reading, writing and playing video games; you could say I like everything connected to the arts - except drawing which I am terrible at and avoid as much as possible. I am a self-proclaimed master at the game of Yatzy, and very good at being lucky according to my family and friends. I love learning new things, even if they're totally useless facts, like the fact that playing dance music can help ward off mosquitoes, and peanut butter can be turned into diamonds. My current projects include trying to teach myself how to play the accordion and speak french (not at the same time though). As the newest writer on the NewsTeam, I’m really excited to work with the rest of the group, and research and write about all types of things that interests me, and hopefully you as well!
Hi! I'm Callum and I'm 17 and from the UK. I use he/him pronouns. I work as a layouter now on the News Team. I love everything graphic design so I can't wait to experiment more with layouts in the future, even though I played it safe for my first one! A fun fact about me is that I was actually previously on the News Team four years ago in 2017. I had to positioner of writer and if you look far back enough, you will find some pretty cringey articles from yours truly... please don't do that! I'm like an open book when it comes to VP; my interests are practically present whenever I'm on here. Trashy Reality TV, Pop Culture and "chatting" with friends (you know the type). Feel free to message me if you'd like to know more about me, but more than likely it's nice to chat with me via the forums whenever I am active there. I go by many names, Koff Koff, Alf, Alfie, however my actual name and username is Kofod. You can call me by whatever name your heart desires. As for pronouns, I do not accept just any, so if you talk of me please address me with he/him pronouns. I was born in Denmark 22 years ago, and have lived there the majority of my life. For short periods of time, I've lived in other countries, such as Canada and Japan. To me it's a thrill to experience new cultures, so I tend to travel quite a lot and have a lot more travels to do in the future. So I can engage in the culture and history of countries, I'm a proper history nerd. There's nothing better than digging into history, finding things you never knew, even didn't expect. It thrills me. Not only do I enjoy travelling and opening history books, I also have hobbies such as videogames and drawing/painting. I like to consider myself to be an artist, I love expressing myself creatively in different ways through all sorts of mediums. And now the time has come to express creativity through layouting for NT! I’m very excited to have gotten this chance, and I can’t wait to work with these people in NT. As you might know, I’m already a writer in BT so I do know a little bit about working in a team, but as a lot of you might know, the way teams operate is very different from one another so I’m excited to see what this will bring and how I’ll hopefully grow with the team.
