Ah yes, the end of October. The spooky season. The time of the year when pumpkins, witches, and...ketchup...? – oh, it is supposed be blood, my bad – decide to grace this website with their presence. It is also a period during which scary stuff might happen. But not on VP of course, here everything is absolutely normal... Still, we in the News Team would like to share the Halloween spirit with all of you, and have therefore prepared a magazine to that end. If there is something you have missed during the month, then this is the time to become updated with the latest news! And before you go, be sure to test your knowledge of Halloween in our quiz in order not to miss out on some fabulous new items to add to your wardrobe. Until next time, we wish you all a Happy Halloween, and we will see you again in November!

As we reach the end of this letter, the editor would like to finish off by saying a few words to Melk and Amren, two of our beloved team members who are now sadly leaving the team. First of all, thank you both for your hard work. Thank you Melk, for your beautiful layouts, your fashion sense, and your love of milk. Thank you Amren, for your amazing layouts, your coding expertise, and your commitment to always give a helping hand wherever needed. The team would not have been the same without you. We will miss you both, and wish you all the best in whatever future endeavours you decide to undertake.

Much love,
The News Team

This month, we’re taking the time to acknowledge and appreciate Angelica, and to start off, we asked some of her friends what they appreciate about her. Don't forget to show some love for Angelica in the comments!

If you know a user who you think deserves some appreciation, then make sure to send a message to the NewsTeam account with your nomination.

Reaper
She's very down to earth and kind and I love talking with her.

Aria
Angelica is my Virtual Poster bestie! She is sweet, caring, funny and an amazing person. Always ready to help and fun person to talk with about our favourite youtubers and mutual interests (she knows which one but especially Caitlyn Rae and David Dobrik) I'm happy that I met Angelica and that she is part of my VP journey!

Coralin
She's very easy to talk to and just a nice person.

Laboratory
Angelica is such a lovely person absolutely deserves some appreciation! Her friendship means a lot to me - she is always super kind and down to earth & just generally speaking super easy to have enjoyable chats with. Super genuinely just nice to the core kind of person whose also got all the wits and funk heh, never a dull moment with her. I am so happy she is around - to me, this site would feel empty without. <3

Oh & I also think her "how to" blogs deserve some love!! I sure have linked those to some new students once in a while haha ((':

To Angelica
Ily, you're so sweet n n great n nice, you deserve this sm! Big hug, I hope you're doing good <3

MCW

From October 4th to October 10th, buying credits gave you up to 12 female sets, or 5 male sets, designed by Aske, Autumn, Bones, Nora, Evie, Encrede, Hungry, Allie, Trainor, and Solovey. The outfits certainly had a magical theme and a variety of colors, as the female bonus sets were inspired by Disney’s Tinkerbell.

The popdollar sets were made by Mada (F) and Teddy (M), and the credit sets were made by Solovey (F) and Trainor (M).

October has been a very busy month for competitions.

This month ET started its new series based on the popular show Squid Game. The first event was a raffle inspired by the Red light Green light game, and featured creepy prizes made by Talent. A special feature of the Squid Game events is that for every participant in the events that doesn’t win, 10 cr will be added to the final prize! The winners of the raffle were announced here

The second Squid Game event was a dressup inspired by the honeycomb/dalgona candy game. Participants had to choose a specific shape and make an outfit based around it. For people unsure about which items to use, an inspiration forum was made. The prizes were Squid Games guard outfits made by Talent. The winners are yet to be announced.

The Third Squid Game event was a quiz about the Tug of War episode. By being the first to give the correct answer to one of 30 questions, participants won the Squid Game player outfits made by Allie. It was also possible to win twice and give the second prize to a friend.

ET’s Sanrio series continued this month with not just one but three raffles at the same time. Everyone could join all the raffles, but the winner amount in the raffles waried. Raffle #1 was for some cute bear Sanrio made by Talent, Raffle #2 for a white rabbit Sanrio also made by Talent, and Raffle #3 for a cute set made by Allie. The deadline for participating in the raffles is midnight CST on November 1st, so there is still a bit of time left to enter!

An old goodie got a part two: this time, the Real Housewives of VP got freaky! The housewives were hosting a Halloween party, and of course there had to be themed outfits and invitations. The winners of this ET competition got some gorgeous holo devil sets made by Allie. The winners were announced here

ET’s American Horror Story competition series also had an event this month. Participants had to dress up inspired by the theme ‘freak show’ in the hope of winning some scary clown sets made by Talent. The winners were announced here

For Halloween, Et held a writing competition where you had to write a scary story which involved a meeting with a black cat. The prizes were black cat sets made by Allie, with a black cat as a secret participation prize. The winners were announced in this forum

Another one of ET’s Halloween contests was a Horror Movie poster competition, where you had to design your own movie poster for a horror movie, along with the description of the movie. The entries were all super creative and well worth it to check out. The female prize was a purple devil made by Pastellilapsi and the male a werewolf set by LucasAmadeus. Winners were announced in this forum

Finally, ET is making airl Halloween dressup competition. BY uploading a picture of you in your real life Halloween costume, you may have the chance of winning up a lot of cr! The deadline is November 2nd, so there is still time to enter.

The monthly SMT raffle took place on Instagram and was Halloween themed. The male prize set was made by Talent and the female by Rhinestone. The raffle winners were announced here.

This month's WWIB competition was also Halloween themed. Both males and females had to style a pair of bat wings for a chance of winning an adorable bat set made by encrede. The winners were announced on Tumblr.

This month the EventTeam hosted another of their “Design Event”, where you can submit a design to get a participation prize made by Rhinestone (female set) or Teabag (male set). If the design was considered useable you can also get a bonus set by Teddy or 300 credits if you have a male account. The theme is freestyle, which means there isn’t a specific theme so you can choose whatever theme you want. The deadline is November 11th, 11.59 pm EST. If you want to read more about the event or participate you can find the forum here.

They also hosted an interactive forum event called “Willow Vale Mansion”, where the users had to do different tasks to make their way through the “mansion” and get the code from the ghost. The prize was made by Vanity and the event seemed really appreciated by the users who took part of the event. If you want to read more about the event you can do that here.
