The end of November has arrived, and with it comes this magazine! The holiday season is just around the corner, or already here if you’re celebrating Hanukkah, and we in the NewsTeam would like to wish you all a happy holiday season, whatever holiday you may celebrate.

If you feel like there’s been a lack of articles this month, your feeling is correct! As a team, we have taken the month of November to plan applications and structural changes within the team, which you can read more about on the Team Updates page of this magazine.

We in the NewsTeam want to take this time to thank Callum for his time as layouter on NT, and wish him well on his future path, wherever it might lead him! We would also like to welcome Atencia and Era back to the team as writer and layouter!

November has been a busy month for multiple of the teams.

You might have noticed that the regular NT articles haven’t appeared this month. Due to a low number of team members, the team decided to take a break to restructure. However, for people wanting to join the team there has been good news: a round of open applications was announced. This means that there is no deadline to apply, and applications will be looked at when they are received. NT is looking for both writers and layouters, so don’t hesitate to apply if you like to write or make layouts! All the details can be found in the announcement here.
So far, two old NT members have applied to rejoin and been welcomed back to the team. Era and Atencia, we are happy to have you back!

SMT has also been busy. In the beginning of the month they announced they were looking for new team members, both page managers and layouters. The deadline for sending in applications was November 15th, and the applicants who made it to the bootcamp were announced on the 21st. Atencia, Brunhilde, Aria and Damjal were chosen as page managers and Thecelebration, Talent, Koito, Disposable and Azriel. They have then been split into two teams, one managing the Tumblr page and one the Instagram for the duration of the bootcamp. Be sure to check those out to see their work! Congrats and good luck to everyone who has made it so far!  

November has already come to an end and as usual, we had the Mega Credit set Week and the weekend auctions. 

For the Mega Credit set Week, we got six Halloween related sets for the female users and three sets for the male users. Three out of the six female sets were made by Solovey and the other sets were made by Evie, Marissa and Autumn. Two out of the three male sets were made by Solovey and the remaining set was made by Nora. You can find the MCW forum here. 

For the competitions this month, ET continued both of their ongoing series: Squid Game and American Horror Story. First up with Squid Game, they started the month with a partner dress up themed after the marbles episode of the Netflix series. The task for this dress up comp was not only to match with a partner, but in your pair you had to style both colours of a marbles inspired top, designed by Allie. As the comp has now ended, you can find all the fantastic entries here. But to shake things up a bit, the winners were not chosen as a pair this time around, but one knocked out the other and thus one winner from each pair was chosen in the end and received the prize, also designed by Allie.

The second Squid Game competition of the month required some creative thinking, as the task was to write a short story about life after having taken part in the deadly games. (Spoiler alert!) In the beginning of the show, after the players voted to end the games and return to their normal lives, they were given the opportunity to resume the games, and, surprisingly, most came back. However, a few did not, but we never heard from them again. So, what do their lives look like now, after having ‘survived’? Everyone who entered a valid story won the prize, and you can read all the creative stories here!

ET’s final competition of the month, which will continue into December, was a continuation of their American Horror Story series. In order to win the stunning prizes designed by Allie (F) and Ouch (M), you need to show them your best clown look. You have until tomorrow, 1 December, to submit your entry! We haven’t seen any of the usual competitions from SMT this month due to the fact that they have been hosting applications, which you can read more about on the Team Updates page in this magazine. The bootcampers were announced last week, and yesterday the first competition called ‘The Museum Gala’ was announced. This dress up competition is being hosted by the Instagram team, and you can find all the details here. We are looking forward to seeing what the Tumblr team is going to surprise us with this week, and we hope both of the groups succeed with their respective events!
