Hi guys!
I'm back with the second article for this series, and it's a list of toys.
1) Suzie doll — I'm not sure anyone has heard of it since I can't even find it on Google. It was my favorite doll and if I remember correctly it could walk around and it came with some dress-up items or so. I had it until some years ago and then I gave it away.
2) Puffer balls — The plastic balls with a light from inside which would on upon pressing the ball. Those were my favorites as a child.
3) Let's go fishin' — A game in which you're supposed to catch as many fish as possible. There are 21 fishes and 4 fishing poles. When you switch the battery on, the base starts rotating and the fishes' mouths open and close. You need to put the pole in the fishes' mouths and take them out. The player who takes out the most fishes wins.
4) Mega magz — The magnetic 'sticks' and 'balls' using which you can make lots of different things. I really used to enjoy this toy.
5) Nuts & bolts — The wooden construction toys with which you can make exciting creations using the chunky shapes, nuts, bolts and tools.
6) Marble rollercoaster — This is another one of my favorite toys. It's a set with a number of pieces with different shapes which are used to make the 'rollercoaster' and marbles which you can watch go down your rollercoaster. You can make whatever type of rollercoaster you want whether simple or complex using the pieces given.
7) Lego — These are very well known. The plastic blocks you can join together to make wonderful things. I used to be so proud of all the castles and towers I would make lol
8) Foam mat — The foam alphabets/numbers puzzles which you could use as a playing 'mat' or to make objects.
9) Road mats — The plastic paper mats with a 'map' of a city or just a small area that would come with tiny cars and road signs. I think there were even felt mats but my childhood was the plastic paper ones.
I hope you enjoyed this little ride down memory lane. I'm looking forward to hearing about your childhood toys that I may have missed to put on the list.
Thank you Fiskarna for this absolutely cute layout!
