Luck. We either hate it or love it. Depending on the situation. Luck is a win or lose type of deal. We either succeed and get what we wanted, or we lose and become gloomy over it. It’s really a love-hate relationship. Luck, in the simplest terms, is a type of force that can bring good or bad and can affect or shape future events. Luck, in a way, can be very destructive and no one really should rely on it for too long. However, it has its good points in it as well. It’s strongly recommended, however, to not rely on it since it’s not reliable and can change.
What do you think of luck? Do you have more bad luck or good luck or neutral luck? Do you believe in luck? Why or why not?
Personally, I’ve been unlucky since I was a child. Even today I’m still very unlucky. An example includes an incident that happened a couple of months ago. I went on a school field trip and we went to this restaurant and I ordered a plate that was the same as my other two friends. As I was waiting, my other two friends received their orders before me. I waited 25 minutes and my order didn’t come at all. We asked the server and, apparently, she never wrote down my order even though I was in front of her and told her. So I had to wait 10 extra minutes. I wasn't that happy.
Another time, that was similar to the one above, happened just last month. Again, I went on a class field trip and my friends and I wanted to go to this restaurant. We went and placed our orders. As I was waiting, my friend told me that I didn’t get a number (just wanted to clarify that in this restaurant you need to have a number placed in a table number stand so that the servers give you your correct order). I didn’t know this so my friend and I went to the cashier and apparently they ran out of the number for my specific order. So, they gave me a different number and told me they would change my receipt to fit with my order. They never gave me back my receipt, and I was waiting for my food for 15 minutes. The server (finally) noticed that I never got my order and went back into the kitchen and finally gave me my over stuffed, over grilled sandwich. Needless to say, I was completely unhappy.
